I ordered 2 sets to wire 4 cameras to one dvr because of the sale price. Seemed good when I set up the first 2 cameras but then the second box had cameras made with cheap plastic that cracred during installation...had to return it and they couldn't replace it. Cameras in the second box were labeled with the same model number so it wasn't just a packaging error.

the cameras are great, the picture quality is great. you can use the mobile app for remote access. installing them is a bit more intense when compared to installing wireless cameras that only need a power source to be connected.

Bad quality and very difficult to install.I do not recommend it.

Upgraded from a Zmodo device after it died. The difference in camera quality is striking. I am using the 2 new Swann cameras and 2 of the old Zmodo cameras and it's like night and day. The night vision is actually better than the day, clear, crips and lights up neighbors cars in the their driveways across the street. The interface is pretty intuitive. Overall I got what I expected and am happy. If you're looking for a nice basic home surveillance system look no further.

Installed system myself five weeks ago and we are very happy with it. Other more expensive systems may offer bells and whistles but this systems does a lot and does it well for the small price.

The Swann 2-cameras working as advertised, SWDVR up and running on the LAN and WAN, Swann PC software setup to access SWDVR via LAN, T-Mobile phone setup to access the MyDVR via SAME or DIFFERENT NETWORK, IR night vision is good quality. Swann Tech support is excellent.

True plug & play. Works right out of the box. I have purchased two more cameras and all four work perfect. Works fine on my laptop, desktop, and television. I have not tried a tablet or phone yet. The menu is easy to use and it comes with everything you need to watch and edit videos. It really is true plug & play. I set the date and clock and did not have to change any other settings. I have crystal clear video on all four cameras.

I can't believe how simple this was to set up. The instructions walk you through the entire set up process so easy. and great quality..

Easy to install and configure. Takes time to setup the cameras but other than that its a day job or less. iPhone App and PC software easy to use and view playback.

Spent an hour on the phone with customer service trying to obtain a picture on my computer. The tech then said oh, it won't work on a laptop (what!!#. She then told me to hook up to my TV. Still didn't work. Then she came back and said my TV screen was too large. Problem not resolved and she conveniently hung up on me in the middle of the call #she had the call back number, but never called back). I am returning the system.

I had this system in my business for about a week and it actually worked ok for the price I paid. I decided to move the system to my home and it worked for about a day. The system alarm then went off and would not cut off. The DVR system quit working. Customer service is terrible. They made me unscrew the DVR apart and put it back together (took over an hour by phone following their instructions). They eventually decided I should return it for service, but told me I had to pay for shipping. I argued that and they eventually sent me a shipping label. A month and a half later I receive the "repaired system." It does the same thing…Well, I'm on the phone again on hold. The automated message says their call volume is high… I don't believe the callers are calling swann to tell them how wonderful their product is. If only I could get my money back!

First DVR lost Channel 2. No biggie, since I only had 2 cameras, just used a different channel. Two days later, the rest went. Was within 10 or so days of purchase and was able to replace in store. Second DVR, same problem and now outside the return period. Geek Squad can send it in for repair but now out a DVR for who knows how long. Waste of money

Advertised as DVD quality, and Swann boasts their customer service and tech support. Far from DVD quality. Very grainy and not very clear. Don't bother calling customer support. Is in India and is a language barrier. And seem unable to help. Was looking for help not, but they insisted I hardwire it to an internet connection, when I just wanted help with basic setup. Need to be really good with networking and computers to work with it. At night, even on the least sensitive motion setting, the system records every 30 seconds for no reason. Can't even see motion in the playback. Waste of money. Wish I would have known before doing all the drilling and wire running through the house. No if I take it out, have to spend money to fix the house up.

After 3 days one of the camera stopped working. I'm Looking for an exchange. Very bad experience.

Excellent value for the money. Easy to set up and easy to navigate menus.
