Not the type of game I thought. It said two player however what it really meant was you can play two players online. So can't play it my dad like thought. And on top of that not a lot of fun

Whenever a company decides not to dub it's game for the western audience, you know they have lost faith in it's success themselves and are just trying to milk every penny they can still salvage. I had to drop the title but at it's best it's a cumbersome mashup of skill sets, dialogue and complicated attack patterns. I could NOT relive the joy of playing through the world of the incredible SAO, as a fan of the series would love, and as the product had somewhat intended in it's inception.
Maybe next time folks, but not this time.

Very slow game with very clunky battle system and often left not knowing where to go next. Not my cup of tea.

Lost Song was better in my opinion. Resold it after playing it for a week.

Good SAO game, weird translation.

For any SAO fan that has played the last two games, Hollow Fragment and Lost Song -- You should already know what to expect. The battle system is a huge improvement from previous titles, and the art is amazing. Visual Novel-ish type avatars are drawn very, very well and have a lot more movement in them. If you're able to get a Limited Edition version, it looks like they each come with a sticker on top of the box with the lot number. Looks like i have number 6083 out of 10000.
Visually speaking, the game is beautiful and the soundtrack, although does not compare to Yuki Kajura's work, is still fitting. If you're a SAO fan -- and this is the first game you want to get into, you might be able to do it. They do alot of back peddling.
My only gripe is the translation is a little weird. There are times where the English translators will add an inflection of some sort, or straight up the translation will be completely wrong. The Japanese voice dubbing will say one thing, but the text dialogue will say something a little different. They also give the charters mannerisms that did not exist prior in either the light novels, games, or anime.
While, I understand what they're trying to convey, its weird hearing one thing and reading another ( which, shouldn't be an issue if you don't understand Japanese, but know that it's there)
