Perfect phone for on the go

Ok.Ok. Ok, Call me cheap or whatever but I refuse to pay the ridiculous prices that the leading carriers are charging for a phone these days. Not to mention the contract that they rope you in to signing making you promise that generation after generation of your family will remain with their company.
I figured enough is enough so once the hostage situation was over a.k.a. my contract I decided to switch to prepaid. Since then I have discovered that I'm not really missing out on much. I think my phone is pretty smart...it does GPS, email, pics, social media etc. and I can talk, text and use the web as much as I want for half the cost of contract services. Face it there is no such thing as a Pre-Paid Cell Phone Tower meaning: I notice no difference in the call quality because there is no difference. The towers that are used are the same so no dropped calls and such. And sure its hard to find a case but to combat that issue I just don't drop my phone.
Long story short...its prepaid not a contract. Try it for a month and if you don't like it switch back to the dark side. That is all ;)

You get what you pay for

I bought this phone when it was on sale for $70. For a very basic smartphone it's pretty good. The phone is fast, no problem connecting to the app store, and apps run smoothly. My biggest problem with the phone is the very low memory that it has. It says you can use an SD card for extra memory, which you can, but it doesn't allow you to transfer any of the preinstalled apps to the card there for you are very limited it what you are able to download. The pre-installed apps take up the majority of the memory and when you try to download other apps it tells you there's not enough memory left. You can't download directly to your SD card so you are only able to download very small apps. I also hate the fact that you cannot delete any of the factory apps. I don't need the music player, movie player, youtube, etc. and they are taking up so much room!
For a $70 phone it's pretty good just for a basic, beginners smartphone but I don't recommend it if you're actually looking to get something that you can use as a smartphone. If you are buying for a child it would be great, if you just need a cheap phone for phone calls and text it's perfect, just remember that you get what you pay for.

Starter Smart Phone

This is an inexpensive starter smart phone...easy to use and priced right. But, don't expect it to function like an iPhone. It simply isn't in the same caliber as an iPhone. It is very basic. Yes, I can make calls, text, take pictures, check emails, etc. I like this phone for everyday use...a few phone calls, several texts a day and checking in on my emails, facebook, etc. I have to charge the phone every other day, if not more. For the price and the amount of time I spend on my phone, this is fine. If I were needing a phone for more web surfing and data, I would not be happy with this phone.

Good phone for the price, but not great. Battery life: you have to charge every day depends on how long you browse online. The more you do the shorter battery life. Wi-Fi is great and very convenient if you don't have web phone package. The phone comes with micro SD Card so you don't have to buy one. Touch screen is a bit sensitive especially when you try to talk or find a contact or scroll. Call sound quality is not best, I'm having problems people hearing me some times, but ring tone sound is very loud. Overall ok phone.

This is a great phone to buy if you cant afford a iphone. Has everything you need and get from an iphone. The picture quality is great!! video quality is great! the screen size is perfect and can see everything. The price is really affordable for this phone. I have no complaints apart from the storage capacity. I love to listen to music and have my spotify on my phone and it automatically downloaded all my music to my phone and i had issues with the phone as there was so much on there it kept freezing on me. But other than that i love the phone.

I moved from Virgin to T-Mobile, because Virgin didn't have coverage at our cottage. Paying 10 bucks more a month on prepaid, but also get more minutes and larger coverage area. Camera and sound don't seem to be as good as I had with my LG Optimus V, but battery life and signal are better.

Good phone for temporary use

Picked up this phone when I sat on my Nexus 4. I didn't feel like shelling out $150 to insurance so I purchased this phone on credit.. Its alot easier to swallow spending credit money vs pocket money. Anyways, the phone was good. It was good on battery, it synched with my car via bluetooth, the calls were clear. The only downside was that the phone lacked memory. After a few apps it crawled to even dial a number. The small size makes it difficult to hold the phone on your shoulder and talk. If you need a temporary phone until you upgrade or replace, pick this one up.

If you are a T-Mobile customer, this is a great and inexpensive option to buying a new phone through T-Mobile's new '$0 down' policy. For under $100 you get a decent android which can connect to hot spots or your own router without the monthly fee. Just slip in your sim card and you're ready to go. T-Mobile's website doesn't recognize the phone for some reason on the my-T-Mobile site, but you can still see activity. Very good replacement option without spending hundreds of dollars. Best buy sells an insurance plan for the phone which covers it for a year and is dirt cheap. Again a better option than T-Mobile's monthly assurian plan.

Great phone for the price, pay as you go, and all the goodies organized on a clear, easy to read screen, makes this an affordable phone well worth the investment. Typing is a breeze, making communicating easy and fun, and the battery life is much longer than I expected. Great phone! Finding something "not so great" about this device is the hardest part. The phone was setup and ready to go before I even left the store. No problems, and no complaints. Thanks for making such a great product!

Previous phone was an iphone and it was dropped a few times and each time the screen was cracked so bad it had to be repaired. This new phone is already proving its worth. I've already dropped it and a scratch on the casing is the only damage. The screen itself does not scratch. Only thing bad about this phone is screen size for when I watch videos.

An inexpensive entry for a 3G smartphone.

A basic 3G 'smartphone' for making calls, surfing the web, mobile email.
With limited internal memory, you can only download a limited number of apps. The camera does not do well with indoor shoots. The zoom is only 2X. It can be used as a wifi hotspot, but I only ever used it for one computer to do simple task such as email and Internet searches.

Bought phone as a backup non-contract phone. I do not use it as a primary smartphone though it is faster than my Samsung Stratosphere. It can be used as a short-term smartphone but not recommended unless you are concerned about the expense of true, full service (bells and whistles) Android. Good value for the price.

This was a compromise cell phone purchase because I do not have a smartphone service plan. My old phone was outdated and required a new costly battery. I have 1 year remaining on my carrier's contract that does not discount replacement cell phones. Until I am free to change my carrier, this is a good product for my present needs.

This phone was very easy to use, my daughter was able to just turn it on and go. Appreciated that the phone was fully charged already, yet would have been better if the sales rep would have transferred daughter's phone list .

This is the cheapest no contract phone i can find for my 16 yr old son who breaks or loses everything very fast. Yes, he did manage to crack the screen in 30 days. It is all shattered just by falling out of his pocket.

Good android phone at a very good price. It allows me to watch Netflix and Comcast on demand as well as download apps and search the web at G4speed. Picture quality is nice too. I brought my wife one too.
