The T-Mobile Prepaid Activation kit is such a breeze to set up! I went into my Best Buy Mobile store and bought one for use on a Verizon iPhone 5. I asked them to cut the SIM down to a nano sim, registered the SIM on T-Mobile's network when I got home, signed up for the $30 unlimited text/data and 100 minute plan, and it has been great so far! Even without LTE (as VZW iPhone 5's do not support the band that T-Mobile/AT&T use for their LTE service) I have had great data speeds, good coverage, and my cell phone bill is SO much cheaper than it was with Verizon. I even ported my number over from Verizon (although dealing with VZW customer support to get a new number re-assigned to my line was a pain in the butt). I then switched my VZW line to a jetpack and now my phone is primarily on T-Mobile. I totally recommend the starter kit and the $30 "new T-Mobile customer" prepaid plan is EXCELLENT, especially if you don't make a lot of phone calls and use data. You get up to 5GB of hi-speed data on the $30 plan, then it's just unlimited at 3G speeds after that. If you pay the extra 14.99 a month, you can also tether and use your phone as a hotspot. I may end up doing that in the future once I buy a LTE compatible T-Mobile handset.

Purchased this to use while traveling. It was reasonably priced and monthly cost is as I need it. The setup was quick and painless. I found it easy to Use. The only down side was it came in only full SIM size. I needed micro. I just used a template from the internet and cut it to the right size with scissors. It would be nice if the packaging included the template.

All sim cards are the same, of course. The difference is the service provider. I had no preference going in, but the plans that T-Mobile offered was simple to understand, and the setup was a breeze. Excellent service from the Best Buy staff helped make it a very smooth transaction

I got this tmobile sim card package as a temporary phone card, i used it for my iphone 4s, the package came with the standard size sim card or the microsim in which for my iphone 4s and many other newer cell phones. But i kind of wish it had the nano size option for the people that has the iphone 5/5s, so i can just get an adopter in case i need to switch using the phone with the same account. Overall the tmobile instruction was simple and clear, it only takes about 5 mins to activate your new line using this package. Also great for temporary international travelers who might use the line for less than a month period.

I bought this sim card, because t-mobile was charging me $25, is way cheaper in bestbuy and works perfectly, i will buy again.

Great prepaid sim card. Can be used with any tmobile or unlocked phone. Was easy to set up and can be used whenever I need it.

Easy to use, no contract involved, price is reasonable

We bought this Sim card to use in my unlocked GSM phone while we were on a road trip to North Carolina (we live in Canada). We had a very difficult time setting it up in the first place. We used a credit card to pay the funds and we ended up having to send in a copy of a bill or id to get the phone activated (which is difficult to do while travelling). We finally got the phone activated but most of the time, we had very sketchy signal. We ended up roaming on other networks like AT&T and only really got T-Mobile Service when we were near a major city. When you are not on a T-mobile network, you cannot use data at all and sometimes you cannot make phone calls. It works well enough when you are near a city so we will keep it to use when we return to the States, but there might be a better option...

Performs exactly when it's design to do, and BestBuy staff helps with cutting and activating the service, but was surprised to find out that T-mobile has the kit for cheaper.

I think its NEAT to not have to pop inti a kiosk to get a contract for a new phone, This t-mobile sim card was just what i was looking for , use an old tmobile phone,activate and wholla !!! Kids have a new phone to use and learn to pay on their own....

Prepaid phone Sim, for Tmobile. Switching over was great, the plans are way cheaper and the coverage is great for my needs. I would not recommend prepaid if you're going to use time of high speed internet.

bought for unlocked iPhone put sim card in, and within 10 minutes had phone activated and up and running.

BestBuy sent me an expired card! I only found out during activation--now must take a long trip to the store to return it...I thought I was getting a great deal at $4.99 now it is going to cost me more to return it!!!

Great item if you are wanting to BYOP. Setup was quick and easy. Unfortunately T-mobile has terrible service in my area.

This is easily the beat way to get a no contract cell service at a great price! We already had an older off contract unlocked phone and were able to get great service at a low monthly fee.

I love tmobile truly unlimited. I get un-throttled 4G LTE service. Absolutely better than anyone else.

The SIM card shipped to me was expired and I was unable to activate it :( I had to take a trip to the store to exchange it--instead of saving $, I had to spend extra on transportation and my time...not to mention that they took forever in the store (Elmhurst, NY) not knowing what to do with it.
