Gave up the ghost after 14 months--just past warranty. Throughout the year that we had it, I frequently had to troubleshoot issues. It stopped working altogether on one of our T.V.s. To replace it, I bought a refurbished unit off Amazon for $70; there just aren't a lot of reasonably priced OTA devices. If the refurbished unit lasts a year, I'll consider it the price of cord-cutting, eh? Seems like less trouble than running the coaxial cable from my antenna to my two T.V.s, but I might consider doing just exactly that in the future.

Setup is far from “plug and play”. App is not intuitive, and seems to conflict with other apps on Samsung smart TV.

Had a Sling Air first generation that was showing its age. I also got tired of scrolling through Sling screens to see recorded videos. The only thing keeping this from five stars is lack of ATSC 3.0 support and it sometimes takes the Home Screen a bit of time to load

Its a great over the air DVR. We finally cut the cord with Dish Network, and i wanted something to record my shows over the air. It works great! My only complaint is that i wished there was a way to recover an accidentally deleted show. But other than that, i like it. I would recommend the Tablo.

It works exactly as intended. I wish I am able to watch tv channels and also channel 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, an 11 with no problems. This is a perfect solution for cable cutters.

Much better than an older (different brand) that I had. Skipping commercials is a breeze. Only thing I don’t like is that it’s not compatible with my new LG OLED tv, so I have to use a fire stick to stream

This device offers a number of great features. Easy setup, free programming guide, strong tuner signal, onboard storage for recordings, option to add external storage via usb, local over the air channels are combined with a lot more of online digital streaming channels. There are two things I didn’t like about it, not being able to export the recordings or stream outside the home network. Although I didn’t like these restrictions, I was still pleased with the Tablo. I ended up returning it because the app would lose communication with the device at least twice a week, requiring to reboot it. Sometimes killing the app would worm, other times I had to walk over to the device and physically reboot it since there’s no way to do it through the app. I really wanted to keep it. But, I grew frustrated with the constant disconnect between the app and the device. I hope they get this issue fixed with future upgrades.

Very happy with the Tablo 4th gen 2 tuner DVR! Setup was very easy and went quicker than I expected even firmware update and channel scan. Connected to smart tv with Wi-Fi and it is working very well. The free guide is great and scheduling recordings is easy and user friendly. I especially like that I can choose to only record new episodes.

Works well but I have to restart it often, so it’s a backup for other rooms not our main watching room

After the painful set up mostly waiting to get a code sent to my phone this works very well. Bought this for my mother and she was able to get rid of her satellite system and save over 100 dollars a month.

Setup was easy and efficient. Put the Tablo and antenna in attic to get better reception which enabled me to get 100+ channels (really just wanted ABC,CBS, NBC & Fox). I am streaming signal to Roku TVs in house and it works great. Switching channels is a little slow, but tolerable. It would be great if there was previous channel on Roku app, but there is not at this time.

The Tablo has a nice user interface through the Tablo app for Fire TV. While the ability to record live TV is nice the Tablo is very sensitive to signal quality often stopping a recording after a brief interruption in the signal. A wide range of live TV channels are clearly presented and programming descriptions are conveniently provided in the channel listing, but the Tablo does appear to require an external Internet connection to work even after initial setup.

This is the BEST little device ever! Love it!! So many channels offered and am able to record shows, movies, etc. No need for high cable bills again! Thank you, Tablo!!!

Good Product if you have or use an antenna to watch any TV. So far I am enjoying using it to watch live TV and record upcoming shows.

After initial set up, it was easy to use. We scanned for channels, and it found over 172 channels. It took a bit for us to navigate, but now we understand

It works half the time. It’s extremely slow, cuts in and out. If you’re in a hurry to start something, don’t be. It’s hooked up to wireless and no matter where you move its the same result. There’s always a chance of WiFi interference with anything like this so I’m always aware of where to locate my electronics. I have tried several WiFi routers just in case but it’s still the same. Unless there is equipment upgrades or something, Tablo won’t be around long. Antenna works great hooked directly to the tv but not the Tablo.

Locals stations plus free streaming channels with DVR. Pays for itself over time cord cutters.
