Purchased this so I could watch shows I like because I work wonky hours. I bought it and set it up and everything seemed to be working fine. After two days the screen went blue and would not work- I had to do a hard reset - googled it and everything was back to working but I had lost everything I had recorded to watch. Another glitch is I have an over the air antenna and get a specific channel that I use regularly and for some reason the Tablo will not pick up that particular channel. I have two television systems in my home and one is a smart LG television and the other is a Roku stick hooked to a projector system. The Tablo interface is better on the Roku system - I thought they would be the same but they are not. Have had it for a little while and the problems have seemed to go away for now. It seems to be a very glitchy system and I would not pay full price for it. I don’t recomend it but if there are no better options??? It’s up to you

This device is just fantastic, and at a great price. Setup was a breeze, it even told me where to position it for best reception. And since it works over WiFi I didn’t have to position it near my TV or router. Plus I get many more channels now, even though I’m using the same antenna. The app works beautifully both on my iPad and Apple TV 4K. Needless to say I’m extremely happy with this purchase.

This new unit is limited in features. My friend has a couple of the older model unit. His lets him watch outside his home. The old model let you skip commercials. The old model works on apps on Samsung TV. The new modle they did away with all these great features. I really hope they rethink their decision to destroy a great product not sure if they are trying to go out of business

The Table Gen 4 Is certainly a step forward in the OTA streaming players, replacing my now discontinued Recast device. The Tablo setup was relatively easy and connected to WiFi quickly although I found the best results with an Ethernet cable connection. Wifi was a little clippy on my Tablo tablet app. I saw an increase from 17 to 40 channels locally. The new schedule program is fairly robust but more detail in the shows to be recorded listing would be a plus. All in all, a great purchase for those wishing to shed cable TV.

Very good dual tv tuner for the price. Wish the tv guide had the ability to go back if a show was missed to watch. Dvr is easy to use

It's a great way to beat cable and streaming for locals. It unfortunately didn't work for me, I couldn't reach the towers from the valley I'm living in.

Good for cutting the cord , only has 2 tuners and ni app support for apple tv and Samsung or lg . You will need to purchase a fire stick or similar device to use with those tvs.

Had this up and running within 10 minutes of opening the box. It works great and has not missed a recording that I have scheduled. It is an excellent product and I highly recommend it. It is also an outstanding value.

Able to watch and record local tv on 3 tvs. Easy to use and setup. Has a guide like cable tv just have to download the tablo app.

Easy to set up and it does not take long to install. You do have to call for help on the app to set up your tv.

Good sensitivity for a 2 tuner, but not as sensitive as TV, app for iPhone and LG TV work well, sometimes very log delays between screens and waiting for guide listing to load, integration with LG TV remote works okay, eliminating the need for a separate remote (that it doesn't have.) No monthly fee!

With Tablo I was able to get a few more OTA channels than with just my antenna. However, the Tablo app freezes quite often. Sometimes when first opening the app I have to back out and try 2 maybe 3 times to get it to open. I have good wifi signal with gig speed so there shouldn't be a problem. The weather also affects how good it works.

If I want to watch TV on my phone, GREAT! On my iPad? Sure. If I want to watch TV on an LG TV or through an Apple TV box attached to the LG... nope. Stream from the iPhone to the Apple TV? Not really. Apps purport to be available, but lack functionality.

This is an excellent device if you use an antenna. I am finally able to access my antenna channels via Roku, which makes it much easier and much more visually pleasing. Plus, I’m able to record shows.

Not as smooth as a Tivo but the ability to share over wifi to other smart devices in the house is very convenient. Before, one had to run coax cables everywhere. Nice to eliminate that. Resolution is occasionally 'wavy' but not really distracting. Overall, pretty satisfied.

Saving money immediately with subscription-free live TV. I can watch my teams play live in HD or record them to watch later, and I can watch all my regular shows. I've even found a few new ones through the additional available channels. Having a single antenna and device that allows me to watch on any screen in my home is big with a house full of kids. Set-up was straightforward and only took a few minutes.

I'm a long time tablo user. Had a Tablo 3rd generation for years and its worked flawlessly for me. But until recently I couldn't recommend the 4th gen. When it released at $99 it didn't work very well. But now, once you install the latest firmware it works great. The new 14 day program guide works well and the new streaming channels are a great addition. You can record shows off the streaming or antenna channels. I wish id waited and got it for $79. But its a cord cutters dream.

Easy to set up and easy to switch to on the TV love being able to skip the commercials.

So much better than the first models that I threw out years ago and went to Firetv recast. The recast guide and search function really are poor as is the reception. Using this unit on the same antenna better reception, great guide as well as record, pause and playback. This seems to be a winner!

The Tablo system is very good unfortunately it did not receive Channel 13 unlike the normal area connected directly to the TV.
