    Set up was relatively easy and once I figured out that the Google tv remote would control it through the app I was able to use it. Unfortunately it would lag every 20 seconds or so. Had it connected through a power line adapter that got me the needed Ethernet connection in order to stream on my wireless network. May have been my setup, but I returned it as I wanted something simpler to make work.

    I've been waiting for this sort of device to come on the market. Tablo allows you to put an indoor antenna in the best location and wirelessly connect all your tvs to that antenna feed. Beware, though, Tablo doesnt work with all tvs. We had to use Roku to bring Tablo to our brand new LG set. Its still worthwhile and recommended.

    I can’t give it a zero. I had high hopes for this as a cord cutter. It’s very buggy. I’ve never been able to watch a recorded show. It has always failed. Changing a channel takes 30-60 seconds, if it actually works. It reboots itself randomly a few times a day.

    I wasn't thrilled with this. Item. I was hoping that I would be able to pick up all the basic local channels. Just more useless ones.

      Hi John,

      Sorry you're running into that. Adjusting the location of your TV antenna may help. Ensure it's in a high place and pointing to your TV towers. If you have an outdoor antenna, have it professionally installed.

    The new Tablo unit is much improved over the previous models. Along with an amplified antenna, I am able to pull in more local channels than ever before. It works best on Amazon Fire or Google TV, but he Roku app still has a few glitches as it occasionally drops connection. With the addition of multiple internet based channels, this device is great. I would recommend this device for anyone looking to cut the cord.

    The product works as advertised; however, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. If you lose power, you lose antenna service to all connected TVs. The same goes for Internet access, if you lose internet access you lose antenna service. Other than those two things, this was a very good idea.

    I have had this device for a month now, and it has been great for me to be able to watch sports with. I didn't have cable, so that was always difficult to do. I have loved having this device thus far, and the setup was quick and easy. (Approx 20 mins) As long as you have a fire stick, fire tv, or roku tv I would highly recommend this device to anyone.

    Love this little gadget. When scanning was done it picked up an additional 35 channels and to know I can download the app on the additional tv’s w/o needing the antennas is even better yet. Bought another one for my daughter and her family. Thanks to my friend Kim who recommended it.

    I had a legacy Tablo device that I gave to my son to use, so I purcahsed the newest version for myself. It works very well here where I live (Houston area) and with a good antenna pulls in over 170 local OTA channels. I am very pleased with it. Mine is directly connected to my LAN, so streaming is excellent. Highly recommended.
