A 2012 Samsung 6500 TV and 2022/2023 Sony X85K and X90A Bravia. Keeping it connected to wifi was another issue. Their Support replied with a link to the manufacturer side of which I had already visited. I also visited other sites and learned all Sony tv owners had issues with Tablo and this been going on a long time. Bottom line: You will have better results, no app to deal with or time wasted for sure as I did with a $19 HD antenna I found on Amazon.

I can watch my teams play live in HD or record them to watch later, and I can watch all my regular shows. I've even found a few new ones through the additional available channels. Having a single antenna and device that allows me to watch on any screen in my home is big with a house full of kids. Set-up was straightforward and only took a few minutes.

The recast guide and search function really are poor as is the reception. Using this unit on the same antenna better reception, great guide as well as record, pause and playback. This seems to be a winner!

Try hitting the down button on your remote while you watch. This should bring up our player tray, which gives a number of useful options.

Posted .Your Tablo shouldn't be freezing very much at all. If it's buffering, troubleshooting your network may resolve the issue. If you have an external hard drive, checking the USB cable and connection might work as well.

Won't connect half the time both to my Roku Ultra or my Samsung TV. Fails often when trying to watch a show while its recording. When it works, its ok... just ok.

If your Tablo isn't connected via Ethernet, try connecting it that way, it may help.

Had a Tablo 3rd generation for years and its worked flawlessly for me. But until recently I couldn't recommend the 4th gen. When it released at $99 it didn't work very well. But now, once you install the latest firmware it works great. The new 14 day program guide works well and the new streaming channels are a great addition. You can record shows off the streaming or antenna channels. I wish id waited and got it for $79. But its a cord cutters dream.

If you can, try connecting your Tablo to your router via Ethernet.
If that fails, contact Tablo Support; they should be able to help.

Local Channels not accurate

Installed a roof antenna for the best reception. Setup was a breeze as it walks you through. Well over 100 channels scanned plus extras that comes with TabloTV provide plenty for viewing. Using Firestick for most of our TVs. Just waiting for Apple TV app to provide OTA TV for all our televisions. Good product.
