My Alurtek of 3+ years was rebooting randomly. I checked for replacements and found the Tablo on Best Buy’s site. Setup was relatively easy. You do need to connect an Ethernet cable to your router. No Wi-Fi. The interface is well laid out and much better than my old box. It records by program title and not by channel and time. I operate it through my Roku and the Tablo app. There are no monthly fees for the guide which is good. Overall a good product.

This is always buffing and when I want to watch the DVR my library buffing and when I'm watching a program it goes back to the main screen if I had the opportunity to return this I would and the major thing it is not free you have to connect to a internet service so you're using your data I call it golden eggs besides that I would not recommend I've been told it's being upgraded well do something about the complaints that I have too late to return

Works well for what it is. Currently only apps on Android phones (I think I phone as well) and fire TV /Roku can view live or recorded shows but they work well. Don't expect tivo-like ability to quickly change channels while viewing listings or play directly to TV, but good for watching after recording is complete and has reasonably responsive skip ahead features. No monthly fees are why I went with this.

I can have clear channels and see other tv shows i love. Best part i can record shows.

Good sensitivity for a 2 tuner, but not as sensitive as TV, app for iPhone and LG TV work well, sometimes very log delays between screens and waiting for guide listing to load, integration with LG TV remote works okay, eliminating the need for a separate remote (that it doesn't have.) No monthly fee!

Had this up and running within 10 minutes of opening the box. It works great and has not missed a recording that I have scheduled. It is an excellent product and I highly recommend it. It is also an outstanding value.

The set up was easy. The instructions were easy to follow. I installed my digital antenna and I get my local channels without having to worry with the cord being attached to my TV.

This device is just fantastic, and at a great price. Setup was a breeze, it even told me where to position it for best reception. And since it works over WiFi I didn’t have to position it near my TV or router. Plus I get many more channels now, even though I’m using the same antenna. The app works beautifully both on my iPad and Apple TV 4K. Needless to say I’m extremely happy with this purchase.

I not sure if it the tablo or the antenna but i have to reset the app because it feeezes often

Looking for something to help me with more channels that i sm unable to get with our streaming service.

In spite of what their advertising says, Tablo is not compatible with Samsung tv's. This makes the device highly limited given that our large living room tv is Samsung. There is some information about the fact that "soon" it will be.

Not as smooth as a Tivo but the ability to share over wifi to other smart devices in the house is very convenient. Before, one had to run coax cables everywhere. Nice to eliminate that. Resolution is occasionally 'wavy' but not really distracting. Overall, pretty satisfied.

Well the first thing is that it only goes back to 2019 my smart TV was purchased 2018. so, it doesn't work with my TV luckily I have a new TV in my bedroom not exactly where I'd like to spend 80 bucks. I haven't plugged it in there yet so I don't even know if it works on that TV. Not a happy camper.

You have to make sure that you can get the app on your tv. No app no recording. Also need a good antenna to get the channels to record

The tuner is not as sensitive as my TVs. I have tried the unit on different antenna connections in my home. All of the TVs in the locations are able to receive the local stations. The Tablo missed several stations during the scan. In some locations, the Tablo may capture the channel, but will not show the channel and reports a weak signal. I did try a local amp, to no avail.

The old Tablo worked perfect. This one is worthless. It will not stay on a channel. You must continually reset to the channel. Tablo stated "NO refund" for a product that does not work

Extremely simple setup process. Love the built in amplification feature. Fast response to controls. I have a rotor to aim my tower mount antenna and when I turn to a different broadcast area I simply rescan channels on the Tablo and update the guide. Can't beat antenna channels throughout the house with only one coax run!

Have to reset after about a month, works ok sometimes freezes

Can’t get programs once I leave my home. I was not aware that I had to have a smart TV in order for use Tablo

Really nice DVR for the money, Am even able to pick up a couple channels I wasn't able to get with my old Recast
