I love this movie and the taken 1, slot of good action

Taken 2 is a Awesome Movie that has lots of action.

This movie is great. Just like the first. Full of action

Here's the action I was looking for - Liam Neeson continuing the role of ticked-off dad, and now husband. The villains just didn't get that they should let bygones be just that and count themselves lucky to still breath. But no, they had to go and mess with him again. So bad luck for them but good for me, cause I enjoyed Liam picking up this angst-y character again and opening a new can of whole-lotta-hurting on them. We got chases, and ooky creepy villains and suspense. Most important, we got the right peeps biting the dust in the end. Even if these sequels usually don't measure up to the first, I was into the follow up. Yes, a good movie night for the gang or solo viewing.

Is too much of a good thing wrong? If you feel that way, (and didn't like "Taken"), you will want to avoid Taken 2. This film is more or an extension of the first film than a sequel. A similar plot line exists (bad guys torture Neeson and his family and then feel his wrath in the end). Now, in my case, I wasn't bothered by the similarities at all because I enjoyed the first film and really enjoy seeing bad guys get their butts kicked. Neeson is a likeable, and somewhat flawed hero, which makes him and endearing character. There's plenty of action in the film and Famke Janssen, too! There are limited extras on the DVD, but the film should be enough to carry the mail for most viewers.

All sequels are usually not as good as the original and this is no different. Still Liam Neeson is a certified BA.

This being the second of the Taken series, allows continuation and closure to the first movie. It is always entertaining to see Liam Neeson's characters thought process for out smarting the bad guys, and the action sequences. But at times it seems as though you don't get time to breathe. Almost over the top action from start to finish. I was good though that the second was a continuation of the first, rather than a whole new plot. It gives closure to the first movie.

How can you miss with Liam Neeson in anything? (He has been in a few stinkers, though). Anyway, this second part of the Taken series is surprisingly effective with its car chases, gunfights, and bloody fist fights. The testosterone literally jumps of the screen. Purely for action film buffs, but naughty fun!

Please do not get me wrong: more of the same is not a bad thing in this case. Fans of the first Taken will be entertained by this second movie in the series. While it did fall flat in some places, if you enjoyed the first, there is no reason you won't like this. I felt the action wasn't as large as the first. It was a little more plot heavy this time around. But still an enjoyable film.

What happens when you kill the bad guys that take your daughter? The father of one decides he wants 'justice'. Well, he's messing with a man who possesses a 'certain skill set'. This movie takes over where 'Taken' left off. It is simply a fun action movie...the bad guys get what they deserve. Get some popcorn, turn off the lights and have a good time...'nuff said.

Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, the ex-CIA operative with a very particular set of skills, skills he has acquired over a very long career. If you don't know that, go back and watch Taken first, you might want to stop there. It's not the same movie remade, not exactly, this time the kidnapper's father wants revenge so he kidnaps Mills and his wife, Famke Janssen.

I really liked Taken, so I watched Taken 2 in the theatres. While the first movie is still much better, the second one is still worth getting. For one thing it has Liam Neeson and he's such a good actor and you can always do a movie marathon of the two, or back to back movie nights. Action movies are a lot of fun and Taken is one of the better.

If you liked the first movie, you'll probably like the 2nd movie. It's not a long movie but full of action and Liam Neeson butt-kicking. I thought the context for creating the 2nd scenario flowed pretty well from the first movie. Overall, I liked it but still feel that the first movie is the best of the series.

Not as good as the original, but sequels rarely are.

Blu ray looks great and digital copy is a plus, got it that same day it came out for a great price. Movie starts a little slow but picks up in a quickness. Movie keeps you on the edge of your seat and is fast paced. As always blu ray has a lot of extras if you have time to kill. I definitely recommend this movie.

I liked this movie. Its set in a gorgeous location. But the story line seems repetitive. On the other hand, It is a Neeson Movie so plenty of action scenes. P.S. The math used in this movie is all wrong. It takes him 3 second to hear the bomb go off and he says the radius is 4.5 miles. Sound travels at 335 m/second so At max the radius would be 1 mile.

This is a good movie that brings back a lot of the original cast but has a new twist. The father is now the kidnapped victim and relies on his daughter to help him escape. Once done, he now has to save his wife in an all too familiar way. Check it out if you liked the first movie.

The movie was a good sequel to the first. The plot of the movie was very good considering what had happen in the original movie TAKEN. I was happy to see the same actors were in TAKEN 2...makes the movie that much better that other actors were not substituted from the original movie.

I love the fact that the movie is in a combo pack and it was such a great price. Taken 2 is a GREAT movie filled with drama, suspense and lots of action. If you liked Taken (the first one), you'll like the second. Usually when they have a part 2 for movies the second is never as good as the original, but I think this one is just as good.

If you go into this movie expecting a sequel don't get your hopes up. This movie is very similar to the first movie. However, the movie was very entertaining and very exciting. There were very few moments when nothing was going on, which is something I like in an action movie
