Great story with a positive male role model going to get his daughter back! It also sheds light on the actual worldwide problem of human trafficking. Too bad they ruined the greatness of this gritty piece with two horrible sequels.

Great movie for those who like a good action flick now and then Liam Neeson is a great actor and you have to love the I will look for you I will find you I will kill you Who wouldn't want a dad like that in case you get into trouble

While the sequels are rather pedestrian and predictable, this action-thriller starring Liam Neeson ("Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace", "Les Miserables") details the travails of former operative Brian Mills as he fights to rescue his vacationing daughter from foreign thugs. A great film with wonderful action sequences, a heart-rending performance by Neeson, and a satisfying ending.

This movie is FANTASTIC! The acting is great especially Neeson and the plot leaves you on the edge of your seat the whole time with the non-stop excitement. There is never a dull moment and the ending is awesome.

This original is worth the price. The love of a father to his daughter makes the drama fever pitched. I enjoyed the "money can't buy you everything" undertones, and the action sequences were intense & utter realistic

I have to say this is Liam Neeson's 2nd best movie ever. (#1 is Schindler's List.) The action is great & I have watched it at least 7 times. Plus this blue ray has an unrated version of the film.

This movies shows what id really happening in this world about human trafficking. And this main actor is truly the modern-day Charles Bronson type, full of good fight actions and a great way to expose the realities of this world.

I like the way this movie came on Blue Ray . is a nice movie and now you can interact with other characters to the resolution and the purchase price was Fabulous.... i forget to say is came on Digital copy too

Omg! This movie is so freaking good! I mean the suspense is good. The adrenaline that shows forth in the actors are so catching. I mean..he did whatever he was gonna do to get his daughter back no matter what!

It's a movie I can watch all over again! I like the suspense, action, the twist and story line! It's really a movie that you need to see! Highly recommended!

i am a huge fan of Liam Neeson this film does not disappoint. this film is about an ex cia operative who has his daughter kidnapped for human trafficking .. the movie is action packed and well acted a Must see.

Liam Neeson's character is remarkable in this movie. My only disappointment in this purchase is that I didn't get the sequel to this movie at the same time. I was shopping at WalMart shortly after I made this purchase, and I saw a bundle of Taken 1 and 2. But I'll still watch this movie at least three times per year for the rest of my life.
