Graphically and performance wise this game runs so well. So glad to see the best tales game in a while.

"Tales of Arise" is a fantastic action RPG that transports players on an epic journey across a gorgeously rendered world. Everything in the PS5 game is stunning, from the breathtaking scenery to the intricately designed characters. Combat is "Tales of Arise"'s high point. Its fast-paced fighting and exciting action sequences keep players on the edge. Combo attacks and special powers are smoothly integrated, enabling strategic decision-making opportunities. In addition to its intriguing gaming mechanics, "Tales of Arise" boasts an engrossing plot featuring unique characters and poignant events. Players are immersed in a story about resilience, brotherhood, and independence. The game's pacing begins slowly, but picks up as the story unfolds. Although some players may find the game's progression linear, the overall experience is quite pleasant.

This game has beautiful visuals and well-designed characters. Th evocal performances are also quite good qhich gives a strong sense of character throughout the story. The battle system is active but has many deep RPG layers. This is a classic and engaging JRPG experience.

Fantastic game! The Tales series has been around for a while and there are definitely some ups and down through their ranks but Tales of Arise stands in the top three for me. The battle system is action packed and fast, with a great level of tactics. Depending om the character that you choose to control (out of 4 in a battle) you can take on many differemt roles. If you want to get up close and personal you can pick a melee character, chain combos and block or dodge as needed. Or play the mage or healer characters and use long range attacks and keep the party up with heals or buffs. You can change on the fly in battle to mix things up as well. Also the boss fights are genuinely challenging and fun as well. Definitely will keep you focused and swapping characters as you exploit weak points, heal and dodge. The story is great and well voiced. Great animation and the story deals with some hard hitting ideas that can get a bit dark, which with the overall themes fits perfectly. There is definitely humor, tons of side quests, fishing, cooking and owls to find (you'll see). I cant recommend this game enough. Give it a try!

The newest entry into the Tales series is simply a joy to play. The moment to moment gameplay is immersive and fun, the visual style beautiful, the story interesting, and the voice acting top notch! I played this on Playstation 5, and overall the performance has been very good. The framerate is consistent and the draw distance works well in exploratory sections. Some NPCs load in slowly but it is rare and never bothered me during my playthrough. Otherwise, the only complaint I've had is that there is no co-op in battles. I've found that taking turns with my partner has been almost as fun anyways though, but definitely worth mentioning. If you're a returning fan of the series, don't sit this one out. If you're a fan of RPGs in general, I think this would also be a great pick.

Solid entry for the series. Music and visuals are great and the combat fast and frenetic. Real time combat in rpg's is not usually my tcup of tea but i found this pretty enjoyable, more so then others in the series.

Gameplay is fun and you can play whoever is in your party. Linking between units for attacks is also pretty fun. Harder difficulties aren't great. It's just get hit harder. FF7 remake has a cool way of just not letting you use items in combat for a harder difficulty. I like difficulties like that over being multi stun to die or one shot

This is one of the most fun games I have ever played. One of my favorite RPG Franchises (Right behind Final Fantasy). Super fun combat and a fantastic story that at time is a bit obvious but doesn't take away from the joy of this game.

Tales of Arise is an amazing game. The Tales series have always produced great games, and this one has been pretty good. The story and characters are interesting, and the battle system will keep you engaged the entire time.

This was my first “Tales” series game. I loved the story and gameplay so much that I bought the whole series on ps4. That’s right every tales game they had to offer. Crazy thing is they are all great.

Outstanding game, this is one of the best Tales games I have played to date and I've played all of them. MC is good as well as the supporting cast. Highly recommended.

So much fun! It can be a bit difficult to tell what is happening in later battles once you have have more followers because of all the ability effects during combat. The story is awesome, music is memorable, graphics are amazing, gameplay is solid, characters are loveable. Overall one of my favorite “Tales of” games and one I would recommend to newcomers and veterans of the series!

For a Tales JRPG this game is smooth, beautiful, and addicting. Great voice actors and music. Solid mechanics and battle modes that aren't button smashers. I haven't played a Tales game since Symphonia and this one takes the cake. Hopefully Bandai Namco takes note and starts creating more like these.

This was my first entry into the Tales series, and I'm glad I made the leap. It's one of the best jrpgs I've played. The combat is addictive - think Devil May Cry or Final Fantasy VII Remake except you have to be smarter with move executions because you have a limited number of inputs you can make before you go into recovery mode. The characters are amusing and as relatable as they can be for fantasy characters, and the story is good so far (albeit mostly linear). It's gorgeous on PS5 too, and somewhat takes advantage of the DualSense controller. Definitely a must have for jrpg fans, especially if you can nab it on sale.

Love the Tales series and this entry didn't disappoint. Still had the same humor and combat I've enjoyed.

One listen to the main battle theme is all you need to be convinced to buy the game
