Tales is that heat rock. Picked up from Xilia and Xilia 2, great graphics, gameplay, story etc. Only downside is no screenshots/sharing allowed wtf!

A good rpg on a system sorely lacking them. If you've played a Tales of game before then you'll know what you're getting into. The battle system has been redone to remove mp, but it works and allows for flashier fights. Pick it up if you're starving for an rpg or a fan of tales, but it won't blow the doors down if you're not a fan of the series.

It is a fun game, but it is not as good as Tales of Symphonia or Vesperia. It is better than Tales of Grace F and Xilla 2.

This is by far not the best game in the series but it has everything long time fans want. The skits are plentiful and the battle system is one of the best I have ever played. The story and characters however are subpar. I will say though, if you liked past tales of games, you will most likely like this one. It is a very solid game and doesn't deserve much of the criticism it has received.

Improved combat, more open world than before - my biggest gripe would be the story just isn't that strong.

I was hesitant to buy this game due to the mixed reviews it has, but I'm glad I made the effort to. It takes a while to get started (ten hours in) but I am enjoying the game and characters. The combat system also takes some getting used to, but I think I prefer this version of the Graces version. I can't tell if I miss mana management or not. All and all I jrpg, and I am thrilled it came included with the Japanese voice track.

Interesting world and concepts, non annoying characters (a plus for Tales games) and some nice looking environments. My only complaint is the camera can get stuck on walls during fights and you have to free run to get it to move. Still though, a very fun game.

Great game. The story is interesting from the first act and it keeps adding new characters every few hours, so the gameplay feels fresh all the time. The mechanics are easy to understand but hard to master, so you never miss a chance to get bored and there is a huge variety of maps, levels and enemies. As a good JRPG, Zestiria. offers a very decent number of hours and, unlike in other games, the anime style fits perfectly with the tone of the game. My only gripe is leveling does not give you vastly superior stats but instead you must learn how the equipment works to tweak your stats, which you will not probably understand till a second playthrough.

I'm currently only a few hours into this game and so far it's doing a great job of scratching the JRPG itch. It's loaded with tons of anime tropes, an interesting world to explore, and a fun real time battle system. I look forward to spending the next 40 hours or so in this world.

It is an RPG... which don't really exist these days on console, but the "Tales" series constantly delivers a mediocre RPG. This one is better than the last few that they published, but still leaves the player hungry for a Final Fantasy 1-8 game.

I'm a huge fan of the Tales series and this game doesn't disappoint. They've added tons of features since Xillia 2, like seamless battle transitions and armatization (fusing with other characters). It's a must-have for any Tales fan.
