Normally I find Melissa McCarthy to be outrageously funny, but I think the story line wasn't all there to make this one of her outstanding films.

The story line moved very slow. It took awhile for things to happen but the underlying conflict was good. Every family has problems.

I waiyed till the movie came out on DVD/Bluray to watch it. It was ok. It wasn't one you would rush to see but a good buy for DVD/Bluray

There were some funny parts but it was not great as I had hoped. Basically all the funny parts I saw in the preview. Not her best movie.

The movie was pretty good but not what I expected. It was more about relationships and used comedy as a means to keep the movie going.

I like the actors but the script seem to fall short. She is funny lady. That makes me always take a chance with her films.

This movie seemed to have a lot going for it - stellar actors and a premise with hilarious possibilities, but almost from the beginning, it took a depressing turn and on top of that, it added a layer of gratuitous vulgarity, particularly from Melissa's character which was totally unnecessary and did nothing to contribute to the development of her character. We kept watching hoping that the comic elements would eventually win out, but every time the plot provided the opportunity to transition to comedy, it seems that the writers, director, producers, etc. chose instead to focus solely on the most depressing elements in the storyline. We ended up being terribly disappointed with this film and felt that Melissa McCarthy, Susan Sarandon, Allison Janney, Kathy Bates and just about every other actor in the film was completely squandered on a supremely depressing story.

i expected it to be alot funnier. i really like Melissa Mccarthy and thought this was not one of her best performances.

I really like Melissa McCarthy and have enjoyed her other movie Identity Thief but this one lacked a little bit for me

Tammy is a cute movie and some of the comedy scenes were entertaining. To me, some of the material was over the top.

Funny movie for the most part. Tammy is alright but this movie lacks due to crude jokes and flat antics.

This movie was typical of her - funny, down to earth and I think most people can relate to her character.

A lot of the best scenes are in the trailer. It had a funny moments, but most were wasted on the trailer.
