I use this cable lock when traveling with my laptop. It provides easy security . The operation is simple and convieneint. I am thinking about buying a second one.

It is fine for what i use it for. It is practical and easy ti use.

It fits my MacBookPro. But as it sits on the right side of a desk with limited space the lock itself sticks out and hangs over the edge. I keep waiting for someone, including myself, to walk by and knock the laptop off the table. Other than that it works fine-- no one has stolen it!

Everyone should have a lock for their laptop. This was not so much of a concern in high school but should be on everyone's college supply list.

These cables are great for securing computers and other valuable devices against theft or loss. Just perfect.

It's for my daughter she is off to college, she said that she doesn't have any problems using this. Mind you she's not a good lock person.

This product allows me to leave my computer in my hotel room and not worry about it. It is very easy to use and compact for travel.

This is convenient to use, though I don't find myself using it that often.

Installation was quick and simple. I used the included surface mount. It has a 3M adhesive pad and also screws into the desk with 2 supplied screws. Needless to say, that end is probably not worth even trying to pry off. The lock mechanism isn't die hard, and I'm sure with enough force it would fail. But then if you want ultimate security, this is not the device for you. For my purposes, I am in a "smash and grab" environment. This will do more then enough to protect my equipment from a thief that just wants a quick score.

I use this at my college to keep my MacBook Pro locked up when I'm not using it and this gives me peace of mind when I leave it alone.

My son has this at college and he's happy with it. ITs secure and works well. Does what its supposed to do. Keeps his computer safe.

Sturdy lock, Great deterrent for theft. Can be cut with bolt cutters, but it keeps your item from being an opportunity theft.

This works fine to secure a laptop in a college dorm. The instructions were simple (unlike another brand that I bought/returned)
