What can I say this backpack is obviously made with quality materials and the handle on top is extremely well made. The entire bottom side of it is made of a good quality waterproof material, and so no worries if you had to put your backpack down on a wet surface for some reason because at least you know the items inside will get wet. The main area has an excellent wide opening to easily slide in/out your precious laptop, and another large designed to accommodate tablets too with both main pockets being well padded. Also, the other smaller pockets give ample room for other items too. Quality is excellent and worth the extra amount to make sure my items are well looked after, as this backpack should last you a long time...!

My son is a gamer, he uses this bag for school to carry books, his school issued laptop, and other supplies. On the weekends when he goes over to a friends house uses this for clothes, his personal laptop, and accessories. Plenty of space, fully padded for protection of all equipment, and comfortable.

I purchased a Targus backpack in 2005 when I first moved for graduate school. It was my first laptop backpack and had all the pockets and bells and whistles I desired. Flash forward to 2018, when I realized that carrying my now tattered backpack through an airport or down the street was getting me some strange looks. The thing still worked, but I needed something new. And, I found something better in this Targus Drifter II. It is lightweight and ergonomic. It doesn't put pressure on my back in weird places. There are a multitude of pockets. Some, I haven't even used yet. It is great for plane travel, as it isn't bulky. I can carry a change of clothes, books, sundries, etc without overfilling it. And, it distributes weight evenly, so again, nice and balanced. The look is a bit rugged, but still subtle enough to take into a professional setting. I love everything about it.

I've used this backpack for years (it was originally called the T.A.N.C.), and it's beat out Osprey, North Face, Samsonite, and SwissGear/Wenger when I've compared them. I travel a lot, anywhere from 2 nights to 2 weeks at a time. And I've used this bag the whole time. Whether I'm going to a client's house or on vacation in Mexico, this bag has never let me down. It easily holds at least 3 day's worth of clothes, along with a laptop, power cord, cables, notepads, etc. When flying, I've never had a problem storing this in the overhead compartments. Moreover it doesn't collect dog fur, like most other backpacks do. When I was replacing my T.A.N.C., I bought (and then returned): Osprey Nebula Samsonite Paracycle North Face Surge SwissGear Synergy They all failed in comparison to this backpack! The attached pic is the T.A.N.C. next to the Samsonite and North Face. My ONLY gripe is, I don't like the gray in the new design.

This product has all the space you need to carry almost anything with you. The only downfall for this is that the straps stiching will unravel and the stitching comes out. When this happens have it repaired immediately and the backpack will last a very long time.

I bought this backpack to replace an older one for my laptop. I can fit my laptop, scanner, mouse, plus my paperwork with space to spare. So far it is holding up great.

Plenty of room for my laptop and accessories. Comfortable to wear on the walk to the office.

Got this to hope all the gear I needed to go on certain trip, but after packing it, I still needed more room. Great construction, but not correct size.

Bought this backpack for my college bound son to transport his laptop. Very roomy with lots of storage!
