I'm almost sure this will not protect my MacBook from a hard fall or hit. It mainly protects it from scratches

fits my 15" MBP just fine
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this with my 15" MBP and it fits just fine, the inside is a smoother nylon material, but I also have a shell on my MBP, so I am not worried about it scratching. the zipper pocket has enough space for the charger and cable, and quite a few other things you can squeeze in there. I like the look and the external material.
