Many memorable characters and Disney-lized story of Tarzan that will be enjoyed for any age viewer. The animation style is simple, but very colorful. The sound is dynamic and will benefit from the use of a better sound system. For the best picture, the Blu-Ray version is the one to watch. An engrossing and fun tale that deserves repeat viewing, as you will spot something new each time. A must-have in any collection.

Tarzan, the last of the Disney Renaissance films, the first being The Little Mermaid, we had to add a fresh copy of this to our collection of DVDs before Best Buy stopped selling them (DVDs).

Must have Disney classic movie, always makes me cry but Disney is good at that.

Elton John did not have to go this hard on this album for us but he did and its his best work. Like George of the jungle but better. Your kids deserve to see this movie

Tarzan is a great Blu-ray on a technical level, and it features decent special features. The deleted scenes are great as it’s nice to see some more footage. The “Research Trip to Africa” and “The Making of the Music” featurettes are great insight into the making of the film. Tarzan isn’t one of Disney’s best animated movies, but it sure is good. This release is a must own for Disney fans, and the quality won’t disappoint.
