Nice TV. I have had this one for about a year now. No problems. Works great. Nice picture. Easy to use. The Roku operating system is great. It's easy to navigate. The best thing is that the remote only has about a dozen buttons and the buttons only have a single function. No more <shift>;<ctrl>;icons that cannot be understood, words that make no sense, etc. etc. Another plus is that all the remotes are interchangeable so that you can steal the remote from another room's Roku TV when one gets lost in the couch. Also, you can buy replacements for less that 10 bucks.

awesome picture, I don't run it at 240HZ, makes things move unnaturally, especially animated movies, love the 4k gaming on my ps4 pro, god of war looks amazingly clean! in my opinion the best deal with all the options for a budget price, I consider under $500 a steal these days. Roku is lightning fast too!

I did a lot of research before buying a TV and my biggest requirements were 4K, 50 inch or larger, and affordable price. After comparing all the other TVs in the more affordable price range, it became clear that this one has the most bang for your buck. After using this TV for about a month, I am still convinced I might the right decision. Easy setup, amazing picture quality, and the Roku home screen makes it super easy to switch between different apps and HDMI ports. I definitely recommend this TV to anyone looking for a great 4K TV without spending the insane price that some of these other brands are offering.

This TV replaced a 8 year old Sony 46" that we had in the Living Room (it is now in the basement with the Roku Ultra). I like the picture, and the fact that the Roku is built-in reducing the wires running back and forth. Roku is the best way to run all your streaming apps and the integration in the TV is very smooth. I wish the TV had a few more picture adjustments, and and that the Roku remote had the built in earphone plug...but I am getting a soundbar with Bluetooth so that is not a big deal.

Obviously, it's not the best 4K TV on the market but for the price, it's really good. And even for a few hundred dollars more, it would still be a great value. Picture quality is excellent, colors are good (blacks could be darker, though) and it has the best smart hub on the market. That's the best part, the Roku smart hub. It's so easy to use and the remote has dedicated Netflux and Amazon Prime buttons. The only knocks are that when the smooth motions settings are set high it can look a little weird and the remote doesn't have good range, so you have to be close to the TV for it to work. Other than that, I love the TV.

This is actually the 3rd TCL TV that I've purchased, and I am again very happy. The picture is very clear, and easy to adjust to our preference. The vibrant colors jump out when they need to, and enhance the scene likewise. The framing of the screen makes it look less like a TV, and more like a movie screen. The remote, as with our other TCLs, is very simple and easy to use. As with all flat screen TVs, the speakers aren't the best, but you sacrifice sound for the picture. I hooked up our home theater system to the TV, and that took care of that issue. Very happy with this TCL purchase.....again! Mahalo

I’ve had this a few weeks and so far, so good. Great actually! Nice quality picture and I so prefer Roku over my FireStick. I’m giving it 5 stars but the only thing I’m not crazy about is..... the remote. Others have complained about it too. You need to point it directly at the TV but even then it responds slow. I don’t use the remote. I use my iPhone with the Roku app. It uses Bluetooth so you can operate the TV from anywhere which is great....until your kids start messing with you, turning the channel or randomly muting it to make you question your sanity! Great TV so far!

I was originally interested in the previous model of this TCL 4K TV because of its high ratings and a friend’s recommendation; i decide to take a chance on this model because of its still affordable price point and it has HDR. I have not been disappointed. It’s picture is brilliant, has good audio, and the Roku Smart TV interface is easy to use. I’d do it again in a second.

Great TV for the price. When I was caught between choosing the Samsung for the price, I asked one of the associated about the TCL. He recommended for the money to go with the TCL, as it holds a lot of similar features to the 2017 Samsung model and saved me $200. Input lag is incredibly low and good for video game users. The picture quality is top notch (little to no glare), and the Roku user interface is crisp, easy to use, and has all the applications you could need. I recommend a soundbar to improve the quality of sound, but overall, good product.

TV has been great. Purchased as the main TV for family viewing in the living room. No issues whatsoever. Picture and sound are great. We don't really use Netflix, Hulu, etc, but the apps are easy to navigate and I was able to add the VUDU and Redbox apps easily. If I had to say anything bad about it, i would have to say i don't like the remote because it doesn't have numeric/alpha buttons. So it's just kind of a pain to have to use the arrows only to make selections on the screen keyboard.

Nice price for a 55” TV. The picture is good and I have had no problems with it but I can only rate it on a basic level since I have not set up cable yet. I am trying an antenna but there’s no way I’ll stick with the terrible channel selection. With what I’ve seen I can say that - it was easy to carry upstairs, unbox and get running by myself (and I’m not a bit tech savvy), it has a decent picture/good color, and, overall I’m happy so far. I have not tried the roku yet but will

Our TCL 55" has been in use now for over a year, and has performed flawlessly. Good picture, and can be fine tuned to suit. The installed Roku just simplifies the process for anyone looking to cut the cable cord. I have it hard-wired to our router, but that was probably not necessary. We also have an antenna connected, and that interfaces well with the TCL. Overall, very pleased with this unit - especially for the price.

We had an Insignia brand 55 inch for about 5 years, worked great till it didn't. So off to Best buy we spoke with a salesman said the TCL is the best in its class for the money we wanted to spend. 4k and Roku. Picture quality is great sound is good. We use the Roku a little but getting used to it. Always wanting to cut that cable cord but for now we are still hooked,The Roku is our backup. You don't need to purchase it in the tv though, an after thought I could of bought one separate and would be able to move to other tv's. Extremely flat and thin unlike my other tv which is nice. I would say go ahead buy it. If anyone knows how to change the volume to stop it from blaring commercials let me know?? Haven't used 4k enough to review it it looks nice but cable kept clinching. So is it the tv or Sp..... cable?
