This TV has phenomenal picture quality for the price of the unit. Check rtings website for the review, it compares to $1000+ A brand tv's. The Roku interface is so easy to use. The only downside is the remote, the main difference between the P607 vs P605.

This is a great TV. Vibrant Colors and a sharp 4k picture. This also features both types of HDR. The Roku interface is great as always. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

So far I really like this TV. It’s Roku which takes a little getting used to when you have not used it before. But it is a very simple and uncomplicated system. Easy remote.

I absolutely love this High end 4K Dolby vision TV! This is an incredible TV with 72 contrast zones for Deep black and over a billion colors. It uses the Roku operating system so you have endless options for entertainment. It can get very bright and has very good color balance. It has 3 2.0- 2.2 compliant hdmi ports. Bluetooth, OTA built in TV guide. A really clean modern bezel design with chrome feet that makes this a beautiful product. It has 120 effective motion rate, a very thin footprint. It has Dolby, HDR 10, and other HDR features that really provide you with a picture that was intended by the producer of the show your watching. This model is a Best Buy variant so they scrimpt on the remote saving you fifty dollars. I bought a better remote from Roku for $20.00 that has voice capabilities and a better feel than the remote that comes with this TV. The only downside is poor viewing angles as most VA panel TVs have. That's the only downside in my opinion. TCL is a wholly owned Chinese company that has 3 of the biggest LCD panel factories in the world. They invented photon technology. Almost 60% of Samsung panels were and are manufactured by TCL. It's the top selling brand in China. They are selling top notch TV'S at bargain prices to get a foothold in America. You would have to spend $800 to $1500 dollars to get this quality in a major brand. I have had this TV about a year now and watch it as much as ten hours a day as I'm retired and it's as beautiful picture now as the day I bought it. They are discontinuing the P series & replacing it with the R series and right now you can get this model from Best Buy for $400.00 bucks, a $200.00 savings over what I paid a year ago! This is one of the highest rated TV'S for the price point on CNET, Rtings.com, Tom's guide etc. Believe me if you want a steel on a Great TV then don't hesitate at all and jump on this bad boy!

Read many reviews regarding the TCL brand and after many positive reviews I decided this would be a wise purchase. It did not disappoint, picture quality is great with Ultra HD really makes a considerable difference and it won’t break the budget.

This is a great choice if you want something inexpensive and high quality. The sound is not good, but we just use a sound bar instead, and I noticed a slight gray area in the corners where the brightness falls off, but overall I'm very happy.

This thing for the price may be the best deal in tvs. It’s super bright with a great picture. I love that it has the roku features built into it, very convenient

I love my new 55" TCL TV! It is fabulous! So happy with it. Easy to manage, Cable, Netflix, Amazon, were all easy to install and now I sit back, relax and enjoy.

HDR 4K looks great. Local dimming is where it's at. Very good price point, was unsure of brand but seems to be getting crazy good reviews. Very happy with this purchase. There are better TVs but for gaming and price this was all I needed.

This tv is an amazing budget TV. More than that, it's better than most TVs that are twice the price. Just check the ratings for this tv anywhere. Great value.

I went from a 3d HDTV to this and all I can say is that it's a huge improvement, it's an excellent value for the price and gaming on it is simply fantastic!

My TV was 10 years old and had been having some intermittent problems so I knew I was going to be in the market for a new one soon. I started doing my research and all of the reviews on AVS forums, Home theater review , sound and vision and other sites that cater to the higher end crowd were raving about the P series TV's from TCL. I decided that for the price it was worth the risk buying it without seeing it first. I am not disappointed with that decision in the least. I work for an Audio Visual rental company, and I must say that the picture on this TV blows our $3,000 NEC commercial grade 50" monitors out of the water, admitidly those have other features with the inputs that make them worth that much but still.. It does not have the best user interface with the menu options, and the remote is nothing special, but who cares. I didn't buy it for the remote or menu layout. the built in Roku is also great, and if you download the Roku app to your phone, there are even more picture setting you can adjust. Why buy a $2,000+ Samsung or LG when this TV will give you just as good of a picture.

Ther is no tv on the market today that gives this good a picture for this low a price. Can you get a better picture? Sure, but you will pay a lot more for it. Read all the reviews. Everyone agrees. This is a good tv for a great price.

Snagged this tv up and have had no regrets, picture is crisp and clear and the sound isn't to bad even before the soundbars. Games look beautiful and there's not much if any input lag [ps4pro] that interferes with the experience

I only bought this TV yesterday, but it may be too soon to write a valid review. But here I go anyway. The TV is is great quality. I did a lot of research before deciding on the TCL 55". This seemed to be the only one in my price range that was HDR, which was important to me as I am planning to pick up a PS4 Pro soon. The picture is great, as is the sound. Since buying, I've streamed a few episodes of Lost on Netflix and watched two BluRay's. Quality on both were great. I did get a bit worried this morning. I turned on the TV and it immediately went to the Sling app. It was frozen there, I could not exit or go to home. I turned the TV off and on and the same thing happened. I had to unplug it and plug it back in to solve the issue. So far, this is the only problem I've run into. As for the Best Buy I went to... horrible experience. I walked in knowing what I wanted. I told the sales rep and he immediately told me I was making a poor decision and told me I should go with the LG. LG 55" was $100 more, not that much more when you're already spending $599, but I had a budget in mind. After talking it over with my partner and deciding we'd stick to the TCL, we waited for the rep to come back to help us. And waited. And waited. A half hour. We left the TV section to ask for help and they told us we'd have to wait until the 1 rep in the TV area (not the one who originally helped us, he had disappeared) was available. After waiting another 10 minutes, our original rep came back. He asked us what we were deciding and we said TCL. From there, all customer service ceased to exist. He was rude, didn't speak to us, only called to have the TV brought out. He walked away and another rep from a different department (though we couldn't get help from another department, Best Buy?) came to ring us up. She saw the TV we chose "TCL.... never heard of that, what kind of TV is this?" Did not engage with me at all. Gave me my receipt without making eye contact or saying anything. Original sales rep was no longer even nearby, he was watching Mad Max on a display TV. I spend $600+ in a store and this is the service I get? Very disappointing. I am happy with the TV I had in mind!

Excellent tv. If it had better sound it would be 5 stars. Must have a sound bar the speakers in the tv are horrible. Picture quality is excellent. Almost as a good as my Samsung I paid 3 times as much. TCL I would recommend.

I needed a TV that would fit in a confined spot. The 55in size worked just fine and the TCL Roku set works great.

This tv is excellent. Picture is awesome! The apps are great and very easy to access. One of the best tv's I have own for the price. Can't be beat .

I purchased this TV for 4k Gaming with a PS4 pro. It is fantastic! the HDR is awesome.
