Countless reviews have been written about this TV, so what I can add is simply this: for the price, this is arguably one of the best TVs you can get.
I’m not a gamer or an all weekend sports watcher. We stream shows, movies, and watch the occasional football game. The TV is perfect. It has enough bells and whistles to function but not so many as to inflate the price. The Roku operating system is the true gem here, as it makes everything so quick and easy. Off axis viewing is not perfect, but we routinely watch at a 30° angle with no major wash out issues. Corners of the screen do have very slight darkness to them, but no one other than me even notices it. Again, for the money you’re getting a lot here.
If you were like me and are waffling back and forth about whether to get this TV.... just get it and save yourself some money (who doesn’t like more money in their pocket?). After all, it’s just a TV!

This TV is exactly what I was looking for. Excellent picture and size. It feels comfortable to watch closer up (~10ft) and even from the adjoining room about 30-40 ft away. The image is crisp and clear with vivid contrast. The nuances of how deep the blacks are and the RGB values are beyond me - I just know it is a much more immersive experience from the plasma TV I upgraded from.
I had been using a Roku box on my last TV, so the integrated Roku interface is a familiar and comfortable one for me. I don't watch much broadcast tv and don't have cable, so this is the ideal setup for me and my family. The remote is also simple for my 5 y/o to use, even though sometimes I wish it wasn't.
The sound is decent, but some of the dialogue seemed to blend in with the background sounds, so I added a small Sonos sound bar to it, and everything has been great since.
The closest thing I've had to an issue has been that it is sometimes slow to connect back to my WiFi, but I'm not sure if that is an issue with my WiFi or the TV.
All in all, I feel like I got an excellent TV for the price, which is what multiple websites like CNet and Consumer Reports said about it.

Very nice TV, easy to set-up with Roku built in. I purchased a JBL 5.1 sound bar about a week later and it set-up within 10 minutes or so. It automatically linked with this TV and even works with the TV - Roku remote. There are cheaper TV's out there but none with this picture quality. Overall, outstanding value. AAAA++++

This tv was great right out of the box. I put the legs on plugged it in and there was a beautiful picture. Bright and clean great color at this price a fantastic deal. If you want brighter color the 8 series is the way to go but at 1900 dollars it’s almost 1100 dollars more and the picture is not that much better. Couldn’t be happier with this tv.

Best price out there for a 4K 65" QLED TV. Stunning 4K picture! As a film and broadcast TV professional for more than 30 years, I've always been annoyed by the "soft" images the cable companies provide due to their compression ratios. You'll still get that if you subscribe to cable, but the true test of these newer sets is to view some true 4K resolution via Blue-ray or true 4K streams. The detail will blow you away and this set performs well with amazing color rendition and deep blacks. It's hard to watch regular HD after making the jump to 4K. This TV is a winner! Do some research - TCL is one of only two manufacturers that build all of their internal components in their own factory. Buy one soon before they get discovered and their introductory pricing reaches true market value. You'll love this TV!

Excellent interface, looks great, has Atmos sound (if you get supported speakers). Only complaint is that the Roku remote which is otherwise great will NOT control volume of your sound bar/speakers like most universal remotes that ship with TVs will. (Unless you have one with a HDMI input)

When I saw the price on this QLED TV I immediately started begging my wife for a long-overdue upgrade from my 1080P Plasma. Of course the detail is better, but I think the colors and blacks as good as my 3D Plasma is, which is now my son's playroom / Xbox TV, and he's not complaining. Anyway, I'm still impressed by the quality of the picture every time we watch something in 4K or even on Blu-Ray after the player and TV upgrade the quality to near-4K quality. And the built-in ROKU makes streaming services so easy to use it's like a dream. AWESOME TV!!

Outstanding picture and has Roku built in for streaming. HDR with both Dolbyvision and HDR10 so you are covered for the best quality videos. It is even Alexa friendly. I couldn't recommend this more especially at the price point (under $700).

It definitely surpasses its price tag, however, the most glaring issue in my opinion is the motion handling. You can’t expect too much from a 60HZ panel, but it’s quite noticeable compared to my 120HZ 8 series TCL. It’s quite a step up going from the 6 series to 8. The colors on the 6 series pop and you get a beautiful picture. I don’t think too many tv’s in its price range can compete with it. You can look at some Hisense options but I’m still concerned about their quality control and they are 60HZ panels as well.
TCL is definitely going hard at the bigger manufacturers like LG and Samsung. I found my 65” set as an open box for under $400 which you can’t beat anywhere. It just didn’t come with a stand but didn’t bother me cause I was planning on mounting it anyway. If the motion handling was better I’d give it 5 stars, but unfortunately that just ain’t the case.

Thought I was going to get an average 4K TV for the price. What I got was so much more! Not only does this TV meet my expectations, but it goes beyond. Everything about it is perfect, except for a few minor issues.
CONS
1. Sometimes have to power off/reset the TV because it doesn’t respond (like a computer).
2. The menu system doesn’t give you the full experience a regular TV does, but whatever, at least it works great out of the box.
3. The clicker for the TV is a Roku one making it very plain, like the old ones from the 80s.
PROS
1. It’s $500 cheaper than the next comparable TV!
2. You can install network apps like HBO, Hulu, Disney Plus, etc.
3. Picture is great!
4. Did I mention it’s $500 cheaper than it’s direct comparable model??!!!??

Read all the reviews and it was between this one and the Vizio M-Series Quantum. Everyone agreed the Roku interface was superior, and it supports basically every app, and that's why I went with this one.
So far, it's been pretty great, except a few things. When I first set it up, it wouldn't download Netflix (which is supposed to be one of the default apps) and every time I tried, it told me there was not enough memory and to delete other apps to make room. This was not the case as it gave me this message when I hadn't even downloaded apps. After about a week or two, I decided I'd try to factory reset the tv and see if that helped. It did fix it, although not inspiring a lot of confidence for the software to not have any issues, and I had to sign in to everything again.
The next problem I had (after the reset) was when I set up the Live Pause feature for Antennae TV, which needed a USB stick. I thought there was an issue with my over-the-air signal cause it kept cutting out, constantly. I seriously doubted it though cause I had always had a strong signal on specific channels and it was still having the problem on those too. Looked online and saw a comment about removing the USB drive that is used for Live Pause. This did solve the problem, but it's frustrating because if I have that USB drive plugged in, it makes the feature useless because it cuts out the signal and therefore doesn't allow it to record the broadcast to pause or rewind, but I'm not able to use the Live Pause feature without the USB drive.
Also had some frustration getting the ARC to work through the receiver, but figured it out after some settings configurations on the TV and receiver. But now that it does work, I can use the Roku remote for pretty much everything, and I love that.
Aside from that, it's been pretty good. Picture has been great, although the step up to 4K from HD is not nearly as noticeable as it was back in the day from SD to HD. I feel like it has bumped up the refresh rate on Switch games and looks smoother, and I can't wait to upgrade my Xbox One to the X so games will be in 4K.
It is sometimes good about knowing when I start a device connected through my receiver and will sometimes automatically switch. It will usually do it with my Switch, but not my Xbox; unsure why.
Apps switch fairly quickly (faster than on the Xbox, which is what I was using before for most). Voice feature on the remote is nice, although not always perfect. It does help make up for the lack of buttons that you would usually find on other remotes, like numbers for channels.
So far, I've been mostly happy with it and although it did take some work, I would recommend this TV.

For only $750 this is a 75” TV! It’s not OLED but you can’t complain for $750. I would go and see this tv in person first before buying but I would suggest that for any tv.
Make sure to ask what Best Buy us using to stream video on the Tv In store. Often they use 8k card preloaded that makes the tv’s look better then they will ever look at home.
TIP: Wall install is 199$ but if you get the yearly GEEK SQUAD SERVICE it’s only $50!. The big win is that you can use it for numerous things including free install of a car alarm. Best Buy is the best place to buy electronics with no risk of things breaking with these 5yr warranties.

This will be my 3rd TCL TV, they are the best bang for your buck!
I recently wanted a larger TV for my living room, and "thought" I'd upgrade to a Samsung....instant regret once I hooked it up, so I took it back and bought this.
If you stream TV, this is absolutely the easiest TV in the world to do it on. The home menu is super easy, and all your choices are nice and big across the entire screen - no little ribbon at the bottom like what I saw on the Samsung I tried.
I know a lot of people hate the remotes on the TLC tv's but I love the simplicity, and my 6 year old has no trouble navigating through the streaming options.

I did a lot of careful research before making this purchase. I have to be careful with my budget and obviously can’t pay for a top-of-the-line unit. I was looking for quality of product rather than paying for a name. Until recently I had never heard of TCL but in reading the reviews I decided on this unit. My wife and I have decided to “cut the cable” and now do all our steaming through Roku. That was an added incentive. Plus the picture is amazing! Great colors and motion tracking. We like “action” movies so we’re very happy with this TV.
And... Best Buy walked it out to my truck and loaded it about 5 minutes after I arrived for pick-up. Double plus!

This tv for the money, which I got even a better deal than what it is now, is one of the best tv you can own. I will say it was not all Rose's but TCL support was able to help. One of my hdmi ports were not working but with their help it was fixed. I have had issues with motion but maybe I am crazy it seems to have gotten better. You do have to do some work to dial in the picture to your liking. This tv is excellent with 4k content and the ROKU operating system is easy to use which is a plus. Low output content 720p can be a challenge but 1080 to 4k looks good. I would definitely recommend this tv just don't expect the world. For what it is, TCL did a very good job.

The picture on this TV looks fantastic. It will make having the higher tier of Netflix worth it for the 4k. The TV itself also looks great sitting on your TV stand or mounted on your wall. It is nice and thin with very discreet legs if you use them. It uses roku TV which is nice. The UI works well. At first I was a little upset the remote has no numbers since we use an antenna to get local channels but it supports voice commands so you can just quickly say "go to channel 3" and you are there. Finally, if you get this TV on sale like I did ($599) you cannot beat that value for a 65 4k TV with these features and picture.

I’ve owned the TV for just under a month.
The picture, color, blacks etc are excellent, there is a tiny brightness issue compared to much more expensive TVs....not enough to warrant hundreds/thousands of dollars.
Another small concern would be with the SmartTV functions, there’s been minor hang ups where the software seems to freeze.
The freeze is easily cured by hitting the home button. Also minimizing these minor difficulties is the simplicity of adding and logging into the different streaming apps.
All in all, this is an excellent TV especially when the cost is factored in.

Decided to get a new TV once my Toshiba entry level 4K TV started acting up. Not ready to splurge on an OLED but I wanted something better than my entry level while getting the most out my money. Every search, YouTube video etc brought me to this TV but I did not pull the trigger because I was not familiar with the brand. The price dropped a couple weeks later so I decided to givr TCL a try.
The home delivery was over an hour late with no communication. I figured since they are not doing installations, they would not get so far behind. TV finally came.
Got the TV hooked up (more on that later), turned it on and saw the biggest crack I've ever seen on a TV. Is that why my TV arrived late???
Kudos to Best Buy though. They got another TV out to me a week later and took the broken one with them.
Unboxing - WARNING... 2 PEOPLE ARE A MUST FROM THIS POINT ON!!! Not that the TV is heavy but it is bigger than a normal person wingspan and the bezel is very thin. We used the legs that came with the TV (unable to wall mount). The left leg goes on the right side and vice versa. They should slide into the slot effortlessly (there's a video on YT if you are confused as to where they go).
The first thing that came on the TV was a commercial for the show Hot Ones and the wings looked like I could pick them up off the screen and eat them. The screen is amazing. The remote/Roku interface is very easy to use. The private listening mode is love for when you want to continue watching without disturbing your spouse (need Roku app). 4 HDMI inputs, Google and Alexa voice activated. Just about every streaming service app you'll need.
I understand if you are debating getting this TV because of the brand. I was the same way. You will not be sorry and you will not spend as much money as you would on another brand's QLED.
