Love my new TV. Excellent picture and so easy to use. Super clear and has Roku built in. Could use slightly more volume output. But would buy again.

The TCL 65" 4K UHD is a remarkable TV for the price offered through Best Buy. First, it was a big difference going from 55" to 65". I didn't think it would be, but it was. I should have actually looked at 70" sets, but I digress. The picture is phenomenal! 2160p is so crisp, clean, and detailed that it borders on breathtaking. The best part is that I paid a very reasonable price for such a great TV. Finally, the built-in Roku rocks, although I am having an issue routing the sound through my Denon receiver/amp. A minor detail that I'm sure will be corrected without too much hassle.

I purchased this tv after reviewing several other pricer models. I knew going in that TCL cuts corners with sound quality and overall housing, but even so this tv has been great. I originally planned on purchasing a soundbar to help with the sound issues that everyone talks about, but honestly the sound is fine. My only (minor) complaint is the operating system. It's a bit slow and lags occasionally. Just a small frustration, though, especially for the price.

I am really happy with the Brand! I gave up my cable box and Roku app is amazing! This smart TV has it all if all you need us to get best quality and definition on TV Shows and HD movies! maybe if your focus is video game there may be other model, but for my family use it’s is a 5 star and definitely the best value for your money! The ROKU platform is simply sensational! Easy to use and even compare prices for streaming the movie you want to watch in several apps (Apple TV, Hulu, Prine, any app) plus it comes with Roku channel for more options!

For the price, this large TV is pretty nice. The picture is good, and the fact that it is a smart tv with 4k and plenty of input port is really great. However, some of the settings don't work so well. I've tried the different modes like sports, games, etc. and also the motion smoothing and stuff like that. Most of them seem to make the picture quality actually worse, though (in my opinion). In some cases there are also notable artifacts with the motion smoothing. I have just turned all the fancy settings off and it looks good.

The reviews of this tv aren’t overblown. This is the second tcl 6 series I have purchased and am very pleased. I know that I could spend much more money and get a better picture quality, but for the price I don’t know that there’s a Better picture quality with this feature set. Colors are vibrant and crisp, blacks are nice and dark just the way you would want them so that viewing in a dark room is a very pleasing experience. Watching sports is a pleasure with the refresh rate ample enough to avoid ghosting. That same refresher eight is also appreciated when playing video games. Installation is an absolute breeze. It took Approximately five minutes to install the included stand. After plugging it in simply connected to your home network either via cable or Wi-Fi. This enables the included Roku capability to be used to full effect as well as utilization of any other streaming services that you might subscribe to without using an additional set top box. The labels on the HDMI ports from the on-screen menu are customizable so that you don’t have to remember Which port goes to the 4K DVD player and which one goes to the Apple TV. You simply label them 4K DVD and Apple TV. Once it’s set up babysitters, five-year-olds and grandmothers can easily manipulate the menus to get to their favorite programs. If you were one that loses remotes like me and my family, there are a plethora of inexpensive or free apps that utilize your android or iOS device for a remote control that works seamlessly with this model. For as thin as it is, the sound is actually quite nice. Although you might preferred to install a sound bar or hook it up to a nicer Soundsystem if you really wanted to fill a large room with sound and enjoy your movies with Teatro quality sound. But for day-to-day I tend to use the included speakers for watching most television. Overall I couldn’t be any more pleased with my purchase and the value I received for what I spent. If you look at reviews all over the Internet you’ll find that this TV is extremely highly rated in the under $1000 category it could easily be had between $700-$750 depending on sales pricing

I wanted to upgrade from a sony Bravia 3d tv to a 4k model to take advantage of the Xbox one X, PS4 HDR and upcoming next gen consoles. Based on many reviews and demo videos I am glad i chose the tcl series 6. The roku interface is great for adding channels. It has voice controls for changing inputs. 4HDMI 2.0 ports. And plenty of great customization options for different types of viewing. The color depth is not as deep as my Sony was, but the brightness and number of colors is far superior.

I'd been eyeing this brand/unit for months, this is the newer version with an additional HDMI input and additional bells and whistles. Picture is amazing, but you definitely need to tweak the settings to fit your room/setup. It automatically knows when you've plugged in a new device, and you can program the settings for each device you have plugged in. I primarily play video games (ps4) and watch movies, and you absolutely should choose gaming video mode for your games (apparently a 10ms lag time, one of the lowest), and play with your settings for Netflix/prime/etc. There is a world of difference between native settings and cinematic mode, and I found I needed to tweak the automatic smoothing to prevent blurriness when the camera moves around. There's a scene in the beginning of Infinity War where Tony is talking with Pepper in central park, I played with the settings until I could read the words on the sign behind them as the camera moved around. After that, I hardly noticed any of that artificial smoothing. Anyway, it's a great TV. Remote is super simple, although you're going to get frustrated logging into your apps at first. Apparently running your remote through your phone app is easier, but I honestly didn't want any more apps on my phone. You don't need a soundbar! The speakers on this unit are rear facing, so it bounces the sound back to you. Look, if you crave heavy bass and surround sound, go for it. The unit has an optical cable port and and extra HDMI input that apparently is great for linking up all your speakers. But honestly the speakers are fine for a smaller space, my living room is 10x12 and they do just fine. I was a bit co scorned it might be too big for the space, but it's the perfect size, filling nearly my whole field of view so watching a movie is reminiscent of the theatre experience. One last thing, I picked up the 5 year warranty. I saved $200 on Black Friday, and used that savings to insure the TV. I've read some people had problems with pixels dying off, but that was with the 2018 model. Better safe than sorry. Enjoy!

So far the TCL 65" 6 Series TV is working great. Great color, good sound clear sharp picture. Sales person was very helpful, even helped load the tv into my truck. Like the Roku TV. The Pluto tv not worth watching very far left wing in their ads. Remote simple to use, tv could use control buttons on the set itself, without the remote you will have a problem. Last tv was a Sanyo lasted 1 1/2 yrs than would turn off by itself and than one day the picture flipped and everything was backwards.

Save your money on the more popular models and purchase this TCL. The color is comparable to my Hisense TV which I also love. The detail on this TV make it a family favorite. I did my research with consumer reports and they also recommended it for the price conscious buyer for quality. You won't be disappointed in its sharp color. I have recommended to my family and friends and know we will be enjoying this TV for a long time.

It's a great looking TV and the quality for the price is great Value. The only thing I've noticed is that after about 9 to 10 Hours of the TV being ON, the screen can black out, the sound still goes on but the screen blacks out. You can reset the TV and fixes the issue momentarily (for another 30 mimutes or hour) but I feel you'll need to let the TV rest for a few hours before getting an extended run time again. Im being hopeful that my tv is not defective but overall its a great TV

I really love this TV. Surprisingly this TV is way better than Samsung Q60 QLED 65 inch which I had and soon to be returned . For the money I consider this TV as excellent . My problem is the customer service that I experienced from Natomas store location. They are rude and not helpful at all . Left me in the cold and not giving me much help and worst of all threatening me that if lay it down on my car and break it They wont accept the TV if i decided to return it . BEWARE !

This TCL TV is just fantastic. I did my homework first, watching You Tube reviews and consulting Consumer Reports, which rated this particular TCL model number very highly, even as compared to the powerhouses LG and SONY, etc. And even though the brand TCL is relatively new and unfamiliar to us, we decided to put our faith in Consumer Reports' data and go with it. We paid extra for installation, too, as we are seniors and can neither lift heavy things nor deal with the frustrations of hookups, electronics, etc. We are extremely happy we paid for Best Buy's Geek Squad to come to the house, deliver the TV, set it up, and explain how the darn thing works. It was money well spent, and the two guys who delivered it couldn't have been nicer. Felt like family, we were that comfortable. As for the TV, it is, as I said, fantastic. The colors are vibrant, the clarity of picture is perfection, and the fact that it's a Roku TV, meaning we get a ton of channels for FREE, makes it all the sweeter. Our couch is 13 feet away from the TV and, before we purchased this new TV, we had a 40" Panasonic, which looks very anemic and pale compared to this gorgeous 65" TCL. We just can't say enough good things about this TV. We are also very happy with the remote you can talk into to pull up whatever you want to watch on the Roku channels! There's no searching or painstaking input of letters to find what you want. You talk into the remote! Amazing! My two most favorite things about this TCL 65" TV are probably the vibrancy of color and the size. 65 inches was the perfect choice, and we love it.

I believe this has been a great 4K UHD tv for the price. It has great size and picture, which can be seen from the next room. It seems ideal for those of us who just want a good quality tv and are not all that interested in hearing about High Dynamic Range, Wide color technology & backlight technology, which of course this tv has. Ideal for me, is that it has built in Roku TV which makes the navigation interface a breeze to use. As someone who cut the cord on cable over a year ago, I found it incredibly easy to find and use all my streaming services and love that it's able to be customized, so I can easily find and move my frequently used apps to the top of the list. The only negative I have seen is last year when switching channels back and forth between 2 football games, it had a tendency to lose audio. It was not all the time, but frequent enough to be concerned enough to mention it here. The audio would return when switching the channel back again, but when it happened, it was very aggravating. I will say I'm not sure if it's due to the tv or YouTube TV streaming service, but I've never seen this happen on any other tv using the same streaming service. Also, since I don't have a habit of continuously switching between the same two channels it's rare to run into this issue, but it's enough to knock the rating down a star.

very happy with this tv. Very good color, much clearer than our previous 1080p TV, and it wasn't too expensive. Thought about the 75" version, but decided if we got the 65" I would have enough money left over to buy a projection system down the line. Highly recommended...

Great quality and gaming hindered by stutter

The color accuracy is on point. The "Game Mode" really makes a noticeable difference in the response time, and I don't notice any decrease in quality when I turn the mode on. I was a little nervous about the legs at first, but they turned out to be very sturdy. I also love how it is a Roku TV. It makes accessing streaming websites simple. Roku also comes with a ton of free, basic channels which is cool but not very advertised. The minimalistic bezel is a nice touch as well. I only have two complaints: 1. Sometimes game mode does not activate when I play on my Xbox One. As I said earlier, the speed difference when it is on makes a difference. The same can be said when it is not on. It's very noticeable. Previously, I would just go into the settings with the remote and quickly turn it off and then back on to get it working again. But recently, Roku removed the option to toggle game mode when playing a console (at least mine) since it is automatically enabled; therefore, I have to restart my Xbox One instead and hopes that game mode works. 2. This TV has a major stutter problem on slow and fast movements. Anything in between, you won't notice. But if you've ever enjoyed the slow, sweeping movement of a space movie, you're going to be really disappointed because the stars will flicker in unison. It's equally noticeable during fast movements. Sword/Lightsaber battles where the camera is zipping back and forth will also look super disappointing since the entire screen will look like it is stuttering. No issues with this while gaming. It just really kills the 4k, Dolby appeal when you're watching a battle scene and hoping that it doesn't do any slow or fast motions while you're friends are judging your TV.

Beyong pleased & impressed with my purchase (3rd time was the charm). In a span of less than 30 days I bought & returned a Samsung 65" 7 Series & Vizio M Series Quantum, it arrived damaged so can't speak about its performance, online ratings were close to if not a little better than this TCL. I want to start with the packaging, there is no comparing how well protected it was, compared to Samsung & Vizio which failed to hit the mark, TCL understands that first impressions & protecting their product is of uber importance! Now to the performance, the main ripe with Samsung, model UN65TU700FXZA, is the inability to increase the screens brightness, the TV is to dark! watching movies and/or Netflix was near impossible, sure sports and/or animated shows/cartoons where not a big issue but movies? forget about it, you're gonna be very disappointed (yes you can adjust the brightness and contrast etc but doing so will not resolve a thing). Now the TCL (65R625) on the other hand? amazing picture quality! zero issues, at the price of this TV ($877 out the door) I feel it rivals some of the ore expensive TV's (Sony 950H). The QLED technology is no joke! the colors, the contrast, the way it all pops on screen, its breathtaking (Samsung comes embarrassingly short to all this). Btw I've had it for a couple of days and I would absolutely recommend to anyone! Don't hesitate by "who is TCL?....it must be some low quality company/TV" well you would be wrong, I had those same thoughts, but boy was I wrong! btw this an award winning TV by the editors over at C/net, and if you want to confirm the ratings, do a quick search, you'll be pleasantly surprised!

I have had this tv for almost a year now and I am very satisfied with it. The picture quality is excellent for the price range and the black levels are very nice for an LED TV. If you don't need the latest specs for gaming, this 4k tv gets the job done very well. My only complaint is sometimes Roku can be a little buggy, necessitating restarting the tv or remote to get to work properly.

I have a Samsung Q 90 oled TV in my Primary home so I thought I’d spend a little less and buy this TV I’ve been very pleased it to is an OLED in the picture quality is hard to tell The difference. I spent $2500 on a Q 9065 inch and spent $700 on the 65 inch TV. I am a fan of Samsung products but this TCL with Roku is has been a pleasant surprise.
