I’m very happy with my TCL TV purchase. The picture quality is sharp with vibrant colors, and the sound is clear enough without needing extra speakers. I spent a lot of time researching a 75" TV to replace a Samsung 7 series that finally died after 6 years on my back porch, and I settled on this TCL QM7K. So far it has exceeded my expectations. I run an Apple TV 4K for programming, so I never went through setting up the googletv interface and can't comment about its pros and cons. I chose this model for its picture quality, and I'm really impressed. Even my friends have commented what a great picture it is. Motion blur compared to the Samsung is nonexistent. I use the optical audio out so can't really comment on the built in speakers, but they appear much better than a standard TV.

Initially I purchased a Samsung OLED. Problem was it would not integrate into my Google ecosystem throughout my home nor can I cast to it from my pixel phone. Setup was straightforward. Lasted less than 5 minutes on the TCL. The picture is stunningly bright with inky blacks and very little, if any, Halo effect. The menus via Android TV are snappy with no lag.

I decided to add a review because maybe it will help someone to choose what they are looking for. TV was delivered the day before yesterday, so I decided to give it a full test drive and watched different movies from different platforms the whole day and got very satisfied with picture quality. Before I returned 3 tvs back to best buy (1 sony was ok, but I changed my mind to go with 75 inch screen, second Sony was defective, did not even turned on, 3rd was Samsumg and picture quality looks like it went down the road a lot) and finally I got this TCL for the price you can't beat 999.99 on Black Friday deals. I went to the store took a very good time this time to check all TVs they had on display, and at the very end in the corner I saw a stand with TCL and was just impressed how good was picture for reasonable money compared to big brands like Sony, Samasumg and LG. I will compare this tv to Sony X90L since I had that tv for almost 2 months before returning. Yes Sony is known for its beatiful picture but in order to get best looking colors and contrast I probably played with its settings for more than a week from other hand TCL has great picture right from the box. It has less settings but you do not need more. Sound is 3 out of 5 I would say even though it has Bang & Olufsen sound system integrated. But I'm using soundbar with a sub, so for me its not a big deal. There is a newer version of TCL available already QM8K but looking at 7k and 8k side by side I did not see a big difference in picture worth of 500$ more. But QM8K looks beatiful

Excellent tv for the price, you can tell the difference between the QM8K but still a excellent tv. Great tv for for videos games, not much of a difference from QM8K. Do recommend 2 people when installing the placement frame for the tv. Its also best yo a have really strong internet source for best viewing. Play with the options when streaming a show or movie.

The built in speakers are actually decent for a tv without surround, and the display its self looks amazing with a high nits peak.

This is the best TV you can find for this price in market currently (Nov 2025). I explored similar options from the other brands but this one just stood out to me, and I ended up buying it. Bought the TV locally and picked it up using a rental Van. Was very careful the whole time. Opened it up to find the screen was damaged. BestBuy was more than willing to help replace it. They set up and appointment to pick up the damaged TV and drop off a new one. While waiting for the new TV I noticed they had a price drop on it. I called best Buy again and they price matched! The new TV arrived and had no issues. Set it up and tested it out. I was blown away with the picture quality. Very sharp details. The sounds form the TV itself was very good. It has a built-in subwoofer and you can feel the bass. I eventually hookup up a sound bar to get surround sound. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

if you want something similar to an o led without the outrageous price this is a must buy tv. I bought the 75” and it’s by far the best decision I’ve made. I gave it 4 stars simply because I’ve noticed changing apps it could lag a bit but it’s not a deal breaker, it could also be tied to the tv connected to WiFi instead of Ethernet cable. I would definitely say it’s worth 5 stars going based off the sound of the speakers , the clarity and color display it has. interface is just a nit pick. my wife loves the remote being backlit during movie nights, it takes out the struggle of remembering what buttons are in the dark. I would recommend this tv to any one not looking to spend more then 1300 . If you’re going any higher you might as well buy an o led.

This tv has a great picture! The sound is also much better than most tv's. The built in subwoofers give it decent bass. However don't expect it to take the place of a good sound bar or home theater system. Set up was easy, the remote and menu are very user friendly. Let's get back to the picture. It looks amazing! Especially for the price. Also the features make this tv a bargain. I can't speak for longevity because I have only had it a week and this is my first TCL.

We were debating between this and the 6. Went in to see in person. The difference in picture and color contrast sold it. It’s been perfect for gaming and movie night

Sound? There is no “just right” sound. It’s either too loud or too quiet. Picture is very nice, but the damned operating system is annoying as hell. Don’t pause anything you’re watching for more than 5 minutes or the damned thing goes back to the menu screen. I’ve looked all over the settings to try to find what’s causing this, and there’s nothing in the settings that seems to cover it. I’ve already turned the screen saver off. That’s not it. But i got it for gaming and it’s a vid gaming tv. The number of apps available? Awesome. My last Samsung couldn’t even find local channels, but this… BOOM! More than i can hope for. I was a little disappointed that i lost access to TYT through Pluto Tv on THIS TV, but in eventually found out in RokuTV (included). It’s weird that our living room TV still has access to the channel, but when i try to find it on this TV PlutoTV is all messed up. That’s fine.. i only ever watched The Young Turks (TYT)

Excellent picture from all viewing angles! Zillions of colors, great speed for action and sports.

I researched this TV a lot before purchasing and so far I love it. I am no expert on TVs, but I have been amazed by the picture quality. The sound is decent but I upgraded with a TCL soundbar and sub.

Great TV for the price. The picture is very bright with vibrant colors and excellent contrast, especially for HDR movies and sports. Black levels are impressive for a Mini-LED, with minimal blooming in most scenes. Motion is smooth, and gaming performance is excellent with fast response and high refresh rate support. Google TV is easy to use and responsive, and setup was quick. Built-in sound is decent, though a soundbar makes a big improvement. Overall, this 77” QM7K delivers premium performance at a much lower cost than comparable TVs.

Easy to setup and has great interface with google home. Works great in my living room that has a lot of natural light. Do recommend if you are connecting a game console get a HDMI 2.1. Connected seamless with my sound system and auto synced with the remote so I didn’t have to teach it. Well worth the price, and performs just as well as more expensive competitors.

This TV looks beautiful and great off-angle viewing and picture settings customization. I do wish that it wouldn’t pause some tv apps like Hulu when scrolling through picture modes like Sports or Vivid so I can see how differently it looks in real time. Although speakers are Bang and Olufsen they are located on the back of the tv pointing toward the wall so soundbar recommended (you can use both at the same time).

We are so happy with this TV, in a side by side, it was right there with the LG OLED. This is the first time we have ever had anything look as good or better than in the showroom. The blacks are black, the contrasts are amazing with vibrant colors. Antenna TV is perfect as well as streaming Apple TV. The menus are fast and intuitive. Generally we are LG or Samsung, but I’m sold, and on sale the price was great.
