IT'S 5.5 INCH SUB SPEAKER NOT 6.5", Bass LOW.

I talked to support for 40 minutes. The subwoofer is exactly as pictured, same weight and dimensions. Only problem is, it's only a 5.5" speaker. On the TCL website , on best buy website and EVEN THE BOX IT CAME WITH, it says "wireless sub with 6.5" inch speaker." Support was no help. GET A TAPE MEASURE, AND GO MEASURE IT. False advertising? I am disappointed. If this had the actual 6.5 inch speaker , and had a way to increase the bass while at low volume, it would be good. (through app and control can only increase base 5 decibles, and turn on bass boost but still is way to low) No wait to increase sub gain like on my other soundbar and computer speakers with sub(has a knob) Very dissapointed as I wanted to pair with my TCL Q7 tv. Guess I will get IZIO M-Series 5.1 Premium Sound Bar with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Bluetooth, Wireless Subwoofer and Alexa Compatibility, M51ax-J6, Rtings.com rates it best soundbar under 300 dollars. and you can control the bass better I hope.

Was able to Bluetooth connect one of those 6 in 1 turntables easily with great sound improvement. Matched it up with TCL 6 series tv with good interface connection and control.

I wish i could say the same for this sound bar. No BASS, NO Treble, you can't even hear the satellite speakers, which is wired to the subwoofer. TCL missed on this one.

Minimal Impact

Owned for 8 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited to purchase this sound bar system since I had a TCL TV and I assumed the sound and integration would be great. Plus the value of what you got was very appealing (I realized I was not getting a high-end platform). Unfortunately the audio sounded empty and forced. Even after configuring the sound, it was weak. The subwoofer does work from time to time (which does help) -- but the settings have to be reset depending on the streaming channel or source. The surround speakers are more/less for show. I can hear things... but only if I put my ear up to the speaker itself. If you are in a small/media room this might work --- otherwise I would recommend a different system.
