Don't think that this soundbar is run of the mill, it's the exact opposite. The sound is so rich, it'll make you late for work. I place it right up there with Bose and Sonos! The surround sound is incredible and the sub produces low end window rattling bass. I ordered it and went to Best buy before it arrived. I wasn't impressed by what I heard at the store so I immediately got skeptical. Once I received it and installed it, I was blown away. The sound reproduction rivals the Samsung, Bose, and Sonos to which I've heard in the store. For the price, its under priced. And that's the bottom line!

This is my first venture with a soundbar. It doesn't replace my 7.1.2 AVR surround system but it works very well, sounds very good, and is easy to operate for family members. We are very pleased with the Q75H. The Good: the sound actually fills the living room and does a very nice job with the surround effects (atmos, dts:x) even if the input audio is not atmos or dts:x and is upscaled by the Q75H. It sounds like there are surround speakers on the side and back corners of the room, and the atmos/dts:x is noticable with our vaulted ceilings (rain sounds from above, etc.). Impressive! I have it adjusted to 'standard' and 'surround enhanced' thru the TCL app, with high treble and medium bass. There are additional presets for 'voice,' 'music,' etc. which tend to not sound so good in our living room setup. The AI Sonic 'calibration' setup thru the app was easy and gives you 3 different listening positions to adapt the sound. The wireless sub connected seamlessly. This soundbar has plenty of audio power to fill a standard living room. Two different inputs (HDMI eARC and HDMI in) allows connection for different components which is very nice. My LG C2 does not decode DTS formats, but plugging a bluray player directly in to the HDMI In on the Q75H allows the soundbar to upscale the dolby or dts audio (if it is not atmos or dts:x) and then pass the video thru the eARC to the LG. 5 stars for the soundbar. The Bad: The TCL app does not allow fine tuning of the audio (I'm used to multiband graphic eq settings on my AVR). There are three settings each for the treble and bass--low, medium and high. It would be nice to have the ability to have a simple graphic eq to get the sound dialed in a bit better, especially with the presets ('voice,' etc.). Nonetheless the sound is very good from this soundbar. In addition to not having an adjustable eq the TCL app needs work. For the inital setup (as has been noted by others) you need an iPhone to connect the soundbar to wifi. Once the Q75H updates to version 47.21.40 (the latest as of May 2026) you can use either an android or iPhone to adjust sound, volume, etc. Connecting and updating was a bit of a hassle requiring several attempts, even with an iPhone. After your phone is connected, the app works fine. 3 stars for the app.

Overall good sound. Base is strong and room filling sound. Several sound mode options for adjustment. Works well with TCL TV. Happy with this choice.

I have owned many different sound bars from Sonos, to bose and many more. This exceeds them on so many levels and that ray danz technology is amazing. The sound is crisp and clear and very loud. So much fun to play horror games and shooters. You hear everything. Dont let this one slip by especially when on sale. You will never go back to any other sound bar.
