We now have two of these antennas. I have no past experience using this type of product, but I was pleased with how easy it was to set up. It’s working pretty well, and it’s saving us a lot of money. I did some internet searches about digital signals, and they are easier to lose than the older analog signals. Our picture can be interrupted by walking through the room. This inspired me to move the one in the living room as high as I could get it. Weather also can affect the signal. Still very satisfied.

I could not get this to work at first, and finally called the manufacturer for some help. First the booster needed to be removed (that just sounded wrong!) and then the front of the antenna box should be facing toward the outside, which left the not so covered backside showing. I was told in the store it could set behind my TV, but that would only work IF your TV is in front of a window. Once I made all those changes and raised the antenna up as high as possible, it has been working great! I get at least 32 channels (including 5 or 6 spanish stations) and they are nice and clear. Some tend to pixelate a little for a second more than others, but I guess that could just be outside interference that I have no control over. This is my first antenna, so I have nothing to compare it with, but I am pleased.

Terk antenna works with 4K and 8K signals on broadcast channels. So far so good, and even better when I used a high quality coaxial cable to extend the length so I could also cover the cord with all the rest of the new Sony TV and Sony Blu-ray player cords that were hanging down from the Rocketfish full motion mount. Reception is better than with just the antenna coaxial attached to the TV.

It will not do what it says it is capable of. And if you walk in front of it, it will blackout the station. I live in Leisure City and it's hard to pickup Channel 7 which is well within the range it claims to be capable of receiving.

Dish Network and CBS decided to get in a squabble right before Thanksgiving Football. I decided to buy a digital antenna to see if it would help me get through the day. This was easy to set up and performed admirably. I am going to use this in an outdoor building that is too far away to connect to Dish through wifi. I tested out there and it worked pretty good, but the metal building did mess with the reception some. Still pulls in all the networks in a nice clean digital format.

Purchased for a house waaaay out in the country. I thought the stated range would work better than a cheaper unit on an existing TV. No dice. I bought it to work on a new LG purchased the same day and I couldn't get the same # of channels I got with the cheaper one on an Insignia. I had to put the cheaper one on the LG and put this one on the Insigna. to get the same channels. Haven't figured that out yet.

it did take us two tries to get our tv reprogrammed (just getting accustomed to remote control buttons), but once we did, it works really well and we can use it on all our televisions (but not at once of course). picture comes in better than cable. sometimes, we lose good quality signal on a station, and we adjust the cables or reprogram

This antenna does receive local channels with great picture quality, but doesn’t pick up many channels. I have a flat window antenna upstairs that was 1/3 of the price and gets 32 channels while this one (being 360 degrees mind you) only gets 19 channels. Granted both antennas receive the 10 or so local channels I actually watch so I can’t complain too much on the channel list, but for what it offers the price should be much lower.

I eventually set up the antenna in the 2nd floor after try out the antenna near the TV in the 1st floor with poor result. I use the TERK App to find the right direction to point the antenna. It is critical to have the correct facing direction. A small deviation from the source direction will not have the best results. I am able to connect the antenna to the house's original coaxial cable line in the closet where an outside cable TV would have come in. I split the antenna line into two cables using a simple one to two connector using the house coaxial cables to two rooms. I was delighted that it works flawlessly for two TV. Booster is only plug into one TV. I am able to search for about 120 channels but many still have no signal. I live in Irvine and is about 60 miles from the broadcasting source. PBS, CBS, NBC, KCET, Channel 18, Fox etc and a bunch of international channels are in good quality. ABC is missing in action though show in the auto find.

I live about 20 miles from the nearest major city (with TV stations). I now pick up multiples of the major network stations as well as PBS and others. I believe it picked up a total of around 60 stations and they are all clear. I highly recommend this antenna. I have it mounted in my attic space (I have open cell sprayed insulation on the underside of the root sheathing, so it has to go through quite a bit, and there are no windows or vents in this attic).

Not perfect, but good enough. It's all dependent on where you live, location of towers, location of antenna...location, location, location. I've tried a couple of different indoor antennas and this one seems to work the best. The picture is super clear, but there are the occasional digital blips or signal loss. Different towers may mean a different pointing of the antenna. I have mine resting on a center speaker that is mounted on the wall above my television. What I have found, is if I move the cable just a bit when there are signal issues, it generally clears up. Not having to completely readjust how the antenna is pointed (I really don't have the room to do so) makes minimal adjustments tolerable. Not paying $160-$190 per month on DirecTv makes the minor adjustments even more tolerable! It's definitely worth a try. Yes, there are less expensive ones available online and in the store, but you get what you pay for. One thing this antenna does have, along with the amplification, is a real coax cable from the TV to the antenna. Others have this skinny, poor excuse for a cable and that may be what sets this above the others.

Of course every manufacturer claims their antenna is omnidirectional and pulls in stations from miles away. I live well within the 60 miles advertised for most of the major stations in the area, there are no super tall buildings and the terrain is rolling (i.e., neither flat nor mountainous). I'd say I can reliably get about 50% of the local stations, and then only if the antenna is perfectly aligned. My building is basically a big chunk of concrete & rebar, so YMMV, but the antenna is situated near a wall full of glass, so it should be able to see any signals that are out there. If it didn't cost so much, I'd probably have gone as far as "good" for a rating, but for the $$$ it's not a purchase i'd make again.

I was trying to get broadcast tv without cable. Based on my distance from the local stations and the capabilities of this antenna, it should not have been an issue. However, channels would occasionally freeze or pixelate due to interference and FOX did not come in at all. This seems to be an issue with FOX, probably not the antenna, based on feedback from others in online forums. I was able to pick up many Hispanic and Asian stations, but not the stations I wanted from the big networks with enough reliability. I wound up returning this, but would still recommend it if you are in an area with less interference or want the other channels mentioned without paying for premium cable services.
