Great movie. But even better 4K Commentaries top spectacular. Sound exactly how it should be

Classic. This is one of those movies you can watch every year and never get tired of it.

This was one of my most favorite movies growing up. Even when they announce the special edition years ago back on DVD. And when I saw that they were releasing it for 4K I immediately jumped on the pre-order. So today I started watching it and found out that 4K disk is just the theatrical edition and not the special edition. To compare the difference between the regular and special edition is that the special edition has additional scenes in the movie. Note: The Blu-ray has 3 different versions of the movie, Theatrical Version, Special Edition Version, Extended Special Edition Version. The time difference between each version is TV - 2h 17m, SEV - 2h 33m, ESEV - 2h 35m.

My favorite movie of all time in 4k at a great price.

Just a flat amazing movie! The special effects, plot timeline, action and acting are top notch on this 'classic' 90s movie. The cast's acting is up to making this a film that hangs with current movies. Who could forget the constant attacks throughout movie from the newer Terminator! The plot is excellent and provides a great back drop for all the action. Arnold's best role to date is impeccable as a Terminator protecting 'John" of the present. This is a must have in 4k and a great addition to any collection!

If I can give this 4K transfer 10 stars I would! T2: Judgement Day looks freaking fantastic in 4K — Cameron did a phenomenal job with it! It really does look better than some modern movies, which says something about Cameron’s attention to detail in the original film version and this transfer. Watched it this last weekend and forgot how amazing this movie is.

Classic Arnold Film. The 4k transfer was excellent.

Seeing this movie again with 4k is better than when I saw it at the $1 theater when it came out. There were a couple of stunt doubles that were very evident in the original cut, but these have been digitally fixed in a way that looks like it has always been correct. Wow! So glad to have this in my collection.

Even though “The Terminator” is a heck of a film, this sequel is still one of the greatest films of all time and it may very well be the best action film of all time. Arnold Schwarzenegger returns, but this time his Terminator is a good guy that must protect a young John Connor from Robert Patrick’s T-1000. In addition to another great performance from Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton also turns in a fantastic performance as the battle hardened Sarah Connor from the first first film. I can’t recommend a movie more than I can recommend “Terminator 2: Judgement Day”!

You can’t go wrong with a classic like this. While some of the special effects are dated the upscale doesn’t detract from the overall movie. And since this is the director’s cut you are getting the best cut of the film.

There are mixed reviews on this 4K remaster all over the internet. The reason is that they used a lot of digital smoothing and it effects the faces of the actors in the movie from time to time. The effect that it has in the rest of the movie including the crisp clean backgrounds, special effects, gunfire and explosions makes it all worth it for me. My wife had never seen the movie and when the credits rolled and showed the copyright 1991 she looked at me and said. “I can’t believe that movie is 28 years old”. That’s the best way I can put it. There are plenty of old rerealeses that show their age but this movie looks modern and beautiful.

Now this masterpiece is my all time favorite film. I own it on VHS, DVD, Blu Ray and now 4k. I've seen this film, no exaggeration over 1000 times. Being born in 1990 its the most perfect film for me.

This is a perfect 4K movie! The quality is crisp. I own this on Bluray and now 4K and the 4k not only looks better, but it sounds clearer too. If you’re a fan of the Terminator 2 movie, this is a must buy for the collection!
