You like terminator or you dont. Same movie. It is fun to watch.

A great movie with a great cast. A must watch for any terminator lover

This is one of my favorite Terminator movies. I know there are people that didn't like this one... but I'm not one of them. Maybe I'm just weird? It stars Christian Bale as John Conner. And Sam Worthington as one of the experiments of Skynet. The special effects are great. And I do like the story and how it fits in with the other movies. It does take place in the future after judgement day... when Skynet nuked the earth. Now John Conner is trying to take down Skynet and Skynet is hunting the surviving humans. If you like the other Terminator movies you might like this one too.

Let's be real here: I've been waiting for the Future War movie since T1 came out, and got this- the closest we've been; then we got Genisys, the time-displacement movie. Alright, fair enough. Now, if they could just go back in time, cut-and-paste the war scenes from all five theatrical movies (not counting the tv show or the cg-animated internet Salvation Machinima, though it was edited into a feature, so there are 6), plus the time machine bit, we'd have a more complete version of the future, though the machines change from film to film. They even got the Centurion walking HKs into Machinima and Genisys, though I always like Jim Cameron's original design better. ALl we need now are the Silverfish snake-mines. Eh-eh. We need a REAL FUTURE WAR FILM, with Ts, HKs, the works, beginning to end, with plenty of night scenes for great use of plasma beams, and Johnathan Edwards, the FIRST adult John Connor from the beginning (and cut-off T2 original ending) of T2. Plus I'd like to see Linda and her twin sister Leslie onscreen again. P.S.: less Sam Worthington yells ("Naaaowwww!!!") would be nice. Transmission ends, Data Control Center out. >Zheeowp<

Some interesting twists and turns to be sure. Sam Worthington turns in a great performance and the action is there. The special effects are great. I don't know why Christian Bale keeps taking roles that people have already done. He's a very good actor with good range....not his best performance. Good story and directing but the writing is a touch off.

Salvation gets a lot of flak but I enjoyed it,even more watching it now than I did then. It's a good movie with a good story and cast. It has deleted scenes and behind the scenes extras. 2 things I don't like about this BR: 1) The Director's Cut is on the Bonus Disc! The whole point in buying this, is to watch the DC. Sticking it on a bonus disc is kinda lame. 2) There is NO menu on this! After a few trailers, the movie starts playing automatically. if you want to watch something else,you have to bring up a pop up and select it, all while the movie is playing. It's horribly designed and stupid, I don't know what the company was thinking. Movie-4 stars Disc-2 stars.

It’s funny I picked this up cause it was only $5.99. I gotta say I liked it more now than I did when it released. It’s a solid post apocalyptic film. In reality I see where Transformers got a lot of it’s visual style was from this. Worth a watch at the price tag.

This is another movie in the Terminator Franchise and stars Christian Bale and Sam Worthington. Its in the aftermath of Judgement Day that John Conner finally faces SkyNet and tries once and for all to stop the machines. The information says this comes with a digital copy but it does not.

While it follows to a degree the original plot line and intent of the series it's easy to notice that there is a lot of creative liberties in this film and it doesn't stay entirely true to the original movies. But it's all about money on the franchise. :)

I don't know why everyone gets down on this movie, sure, it wasn't the best Terminator, but it wasn't the worst either. With Blu-Ray, I thought it made the movie stand out more from when I saw it about 10 years ago.

A great edition to the Terminator collection Christian Bale in one of his best roles. Worth seeing a few times caution it is a Terminator movie with lots of intense action scenes, may be a bit too much for some.

Not one of the best Terminator films and certainly not the worst. It deserved better than the drubbing it got from most critics. Give it a go and hope for a James Cameron comeback down the road.

This is . . . not great. Yelchin is seriously miscast as Kyle. Bale is fine as John Connor. It's not as bad as it's been made out to be but it's nothing special.

I've liked all of the "Terminator" moview so far, but I had not seen "Terminator Salvation" before I purchased it at Best Buy and didn't know much about it. I took a chance based on my enjoyment of the earlier movies, and it paid off. Even better, Best Buy had an excellent price for the movie -- and it was in Blue Ray. It looks great on my big screen TV!

This movie doesn’t come close to the first or second terminator movies but it is still lots of fun.

This movie is an excellent look at the future post judgement day. It's too bad this installment never sparked anymore in the series.

Good movie... It's actually been a while since I've seen the movie. I just bought this to add to my collection but I think I remember enjoying the movie. Check it out.. if you like it great, if not ok.
