If you enjoy the terminator movies you will like this

Got TSCC Season 1 for Christmas and just finished last night. I'm now shopping for Season 2! Like others I did not have the opportunity to watch the show while on TV. I thought about buying it on Blu-Ray, but never did. Glad I got it as a gift. I was a bit skeptical about a TV show picking up the Terminator series, but was quickly absorbed and really enjoyed the series. I watched it all in 2 days. It's really a bummer that the first season was cut down to only 9 episodes due to a writers strike, it would have been great to see more. All in all though, I'm still happy with what I saw. The creators performed a masterful job at staying true to the franchise while putting thier own spin on it. Lena Heady is a wonderful Sarah Conner and I was surprised to find that she is a British actress, very talented. I really love Summer Glau's version of a Terminator. Seeing her perform ballet while realizing she is a machine is priceless!!! It really makes you think. I was very disappointed to find out the series was cancelled after 2 seasons, but better than nothing. Buy it now, or at least borrow it. Must See. I'm off the buy Season 2.

I never found the time to watch "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" while it was on television. But since I finally got to watch "TSCC" on Blu-ray when I picked up a copy, I have to say that this is an awesome T.V. series. I enjoy each episode very much and I like how it takes place between T2 and T3. This series kind of gives you a much needed back story to the Terminator franchise. The whole cast does an amazing job and the clarity of "TSCC" on Blu-ray is awesome. I recommend this T.V. series as a "must-see."

As tv boxed sets of sitcoms enters the world of Blu-Ray, this is a highly recommended product. For someone like me who's work schedule prevents him from keeping up with shows episode-by-episode, the convenience of Blu-Ray boxed sets makes watching them much more appealing. I never followed the show nor had I seen an episode on tv, so in a sense it was an impulse buy. I was definitely not disappointed in the result since the storyline held up quite well and each episode (I've seen so far) has been very entertaining. Most importantly it held true to the concept of previous "Terminator" titles. For someone who just started watching this series, it's safe to say I'm sold on it. Can't wait for Season 2!!!

Like some of the other reviewers mentioned , this takes off where T-1 and T-2 left off . Never saw the series when it came out on regular TV broadcast . I bought it after I saw the first episode of the second season . Summer Glau ( from the series Fire Fly ) is pretty good as the new Terminator protector of John Conner . The on going plot is riveting , especially without the commercials . The first season was shortened because of the writers strike , but still very good . I just pre-ordered the second season ( I only watched the first episode ) and I am looking forward to watching it .

This show makes up for anyone that felt that Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines was a let down. This show sticks more to T1 and T2 than T3, the action and the dialouge is great and I recommend this to anyone that is a fan of the 1st and 2nd film. I am definitely looking forward to buying this on dvd and I am also looking forward to seeing what they have in store for Season 2 coming out in Sept.

I avoided TSCC like the plague for a while, but when I gave it a shot I pretty much fell in love with the show. The first season is really great in the beginning and closing, and it truly is a treat seeing Summer Glau pounding T-800s to death. Man, does it get better than that?!?! Glau's role is so popular now they may HAVE to throw her in one of the movies (just "reboot" the character so she can fit into their cinematic timeline).

Stupid cover, stupid name, and badly hyped. Great story that a lot of people have never watched because of those things. So forget the name and cheesy commercials and watch this show. I finally checked it out in season 2 because of Summer Glau (loved her in Firefly), and then had to get this set to catch up. Now I'm hooked on the story and just want to know what happens next.

This show picks up where T2 leaves off and maintains the same spirit. It allows the story line to dive deep so we can really get into the characters. It also gives the same feeling from T1. Totally Awesome Show!!

Very entertaining series with an evolving main story line and intriguing sub-plots. Summer Glau's terminator character would seem to be absurd upon first consideration but she really pulled off a seemingly impossible role.

I love the dvd. It is so awesome! I liked the movies, and the TV show has paid homage to that as well as built some subplots. BRAVO!

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is one of the best Sci-fi show on fox. if your a Terminator fan then you'll love this show.

But this show adds to the mythology, and acting and special effects are better than average for television. Would recommend for fans of the film series only.
