Best in VR, The greatest game ever with awesome visuals, just wish it was 2 player some how (even without vr)

Started playing this and at first I was like its ok nothing special. But as you keep playing and progress the visuals get better and then music comes on. Then it really gets good. Good VR game.

This game is great in VR or regular mode. Visuals are nice and music is good too. Great buildups to level completion

We've all played Tetris but never like this. Amazing graphics but more amazing music and just mind blowing in VR.

Wow -- I didn't know what to expect because I haven't played Tetris in so long. That said, this game is super cool. Imagine theTetris you know and love in a rich cosmic landscape of depth and sprites in motion. The soundscape is amazing and perfect for a good surround system or can headphones and its a lot of fun to get lost in after a long day's work. However, I wouldn't quite call it relaxing. Levels amp up quickly and often without much warning and it can get really hard at times. My only complaint is that sometimes theres just a little bit too much going on on-screen, and that makes it difficult to focus when things get hectic. Otherwise great game and the price was right at $19. I hope to try it in VR someday!

You could boil this one down to "just being tetris," and you have perhaps played teris before and wonder why you should buy it again. What I would say is that you never EXPERIENCED Tetris before, and that is what you are looking at here. This game is an experience from the music to the visuals. It looks kind of lame if you are just watching someone else play, but when you are in the VR world, it is an experience unlike any other.

My mom didn't think Tetris could be this beautiful. Heck, I never thought a Tetris game could be this beautiful. Have not played a Tetris game for over 15 years and this is really the best way to revisit this classic. Can't wait to try it on PSVR because I heard it looks even more amazing. This thing even pulled me away from RDR2 for hours! Friends asked me why am i playing tetris instead of RDR2 and I was like "dude i don't know this thing is dope!"

I find tetris relaxing, so I enjoyed this version. The choice of music and visuals made it more relaxing/enjoyable for me. I guess my main complaint is that it was a bit redundant (I understand it comes with the territory but it would be nice to have something to mix things up). It also seemed a bit short, I am by no means great at video games (quite the opposite) and I completed a first run through this game within two relatively short sittings. Good way to relax with some tetris while listening to calming music. Neat with the VR set, but definitely could be better.

This games is incredible. Yes, it’s just Tetris, but the presentation is awesome. There isn’t but so much u can do to this game, but the way that the music and additional visuals are intertwined with ur every move makes this version of Tetris show a whole new level of immersion. And that’s just describing the regular version; I can only imagine how insanely awesome the VR integration would be. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The old school Tetris in a far out environment and visuals that add to the game. Combined with the music track and being immersed in VR and this is one that will get you hooked for hours. Fun for everyone!

It's the best Tetris game since DS. The VR experience is very well done, but I found myself playing more just on the TV. Beautiful experience, challenging modes, it's a great entry for Tetris lovers.

This Tetris adds a new feel like never before. Beautiful music with mesmerizing backdrops adds a new depth and feel.Everything blends to make an unforgettable time. I enjoyed every moment and I consider this game to be a masterpiece. if I had to say cop or drop, I say cop. Especially for the crazy bruh experience. I’m outie 3000. Tetris has always been a fun yet challenging game. Once you play one iteration, you've more or less played them all. However Tetris Effect is like a religious experience except with falling blocks, hypnotic visuals and EDM like music. I can't speak to the VR experience. If you're a fan of Tetris, have a big screen TV and a killer sound system, this game is a must buy!

Tetris has been around for a while, but it never gets old. This version of Tetris is infused with new imagery and sound that might hypnotize you. The reason I bought it is that it can be played with PSVR. It's incredible being in VR and playing the game to everything that's going on around the play area.

It's the first time in a while I've played Tetris without extra bs that tries to change up the already perfect gameplay in ways that take away from the experience, it just takes everything else besides the gameplay and improves on it, such as colors/backgrounds, and the music, I highly recommend it for Tetris lovers and I'm extremely happy with my purchase

Everyone knows Tetris by now so I won't even get into the basics of it. If you love Tetris though, I would highly recommend this game as the visuals, music, and campaign mode make for exciting new wrinkles that make it feel fresh and new. Also, as an added bonus, if you have a PlayStation VR you can play it through that device which adds even more to the experience.

This is Tetris like you've never seen before. Phenomenal visuals and a gorgeous soundtrack pair together to elevate this Tetris experience, making it a sensory feast. The main "campaign" takes you through a series of different levels, each with its own visual style and song that makes for a immersive journey. The speed of the blocks falling will change alongside the music and visuals, creating a captivating sync with your actions. This is a game where you'll want to turn off the lights and bask in the visuals. Purists will be happy to know that there are the regular modes that are focused on the pure Tetris experience, alongside options to tone down the effects and visuals of the game to make the blocks for clearly visible. Unfortunately, there is no splitscreen or multiplayer except for leaderboards and high scores. Oddly enough, there is an option to connect a second controller that vibrates on sync with the visuals and gameplay, allowing you to experience the gorgeous visuals with a friend. There is a wealth of content, challenges, and modes that will continually keep you entertained if you're even a slight fan of the Tetris gameplay loop. Even if you're not a huge fan, the visual and aural experience alone is worth the price of admission.

Tetris Effect is an absolute must have!! We've all played Tetris, but until you play this game, you haven't 'experienced' Tetris! I cannot stress more how amazing this game is without sounding silly, it's simply THAT GREAT! The soundtrack and visuals elevate Tetris Effect to a whole new level...you will want this! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
