I love Tetris games but this version took me by surprise. "Effect" is just perfect for the title because every block you drop creates a beat or special effect in the background. I played without VR and found it to be stunning. The music can range from cool, to quirky, to really fast and upbeat. I highly recommend this to Tetris fans and gamers all around.

Tetris + beautiful visuals + stellar music + VR = one astounding game!

I used to think that Tetris was only a manic mad masterpiece - but that was before I aged and still wanted my block puzzle goodness. This game you can enjoy, and your own slow pace - and still the enjoy music and marvel at the colors. Plus on top of the new presentations - you still get the classic Tetris game play. Solid.

Tetris is new again, this game is bonkers, especially in VR

Excellent upgrade to the old school Tetris I grew up too with 1000x the graphical experience! Vivid colors, amazing soundtracks and challenging gameplay with internet updates so it never gets dull. Highly recommended!

This is such an amazing game. It is truly enhanced with the vr headset and while it’s a fun game playing it normally on your tv, it’s so much more enjoyable playing it in vr. The colors and music is so immersive and it’s easy to get lost playing this for hours. Must have if you have psvr.

Bought this on a whim cause tetris has always been one of my favorite games that you don't have to take seriously cause it's easy lol and tetris effect does not disappoint there are multiple modes to play the visuals are sick while the music makes it just perfect so if you're a old school gamer like me it's a must get!

Tetris is already perfect, so you may be thinking of passing up this game. You'd be making big mistake. Tetris Effect is one of the most blissful gaming experiences around. Even in 2D it's a treat. The dynamic levels and audio that reacts to your drops make it like no other Tetris around. A complete joy!

I played the original Tetris on the first Nintendo, and this one is just as much fun, if not more. The visuals and music are mesmerizing. This game is relaxing, but can be challenging at the same time. You must buy this game!!!!

This is an amazing PSVR experience. It's super approachable and timeless like any Tetris game, but the addition of the spacey effects plus PSVR is mind blowing and all but guaranteed to put you in a transcendent flow state.

Loved everything about this game! From the pulsating music you control to the particle effects that punishes your eyes for completing a tetris. No motion sickness at all after 2hrs but eye fatigue kicked in and I had to tap out. Hint: A Tetris will start the music, another will push the song forward.

High concept with immersive music and background integration. Truly an advancement in a 30+ year old property. It makes something that is classic and makes it feel brand new without sacrificing the top-notch gameplay.

I have always been a fan of tetris! I have own it on my Super Nintendo, Game Boy color, Gam Boy Advanced, and now PS4. This game is a complete remake of the classic and it sure is beautiful. I love what they did with it by adding various worlds, effects, music, and more. I am hooked.

No really, this game is good. It's fun, it's immersive, the graphics are interesting, the sounds is amazing and it's just fun. I bought this as just a "why not" game, but it tuned to be one of the most popular games we have with everybody. Highly recommend.

You don't have to have the PS VR to play this, but it is infinitely better with it. It getting pretty challenging pretty quickly, but the VR experience is so immersive that it makes it an absolute must play. Without it, it is probably a 4 star game, but with VR, this is an awesome experience!

It's Tetris, so you know what you're getting and you either like it or you don't. I personally do like it and think this game is even better when played in VR mode (PlayStation VR is optional and not required for this title). The only real downside is there is no multiplayer mode, so that might kill some of the replay value for some people and for that reason I took 1 star off the score but if you prefer playing solo anyway then that shouldn't matter.

Yes, it's tetris, but it's tetris plus immersive environment. The gameplay, visuals, and music all work nicely to put me into a trance of playing through tetris levels for hours. It's a cool feeling of being disconnected from the real world and living in this tetris world.

Story - Not much here. Graphics - The most interesting part of the game which is better with VR reinvents itself paired with the music. Sound - The other interesting part paired with visuals make it feel so much more in VR. Gameplay - As long as you want. Very addicting.

I play a little bit of competitive Tetris and always wanted to give this a try. It's quite pretty and very relaxing while still keeping that pressure on you to play fast and smart. Great way to chill and refocus, especially in surround sound.

If you love Tetris and you have a PSVR, you NEED to pick up this game. There are a wide variety of modes to keep you busy, and the graphics of the backgrounds/skins are fantastic. The immersive backgrounds and music make it one of the most peaceful games I've ever played.
