Yet another Muse album that hits the spot. The way they mix genres is great going from rocking guitars to soothing pianos to a bit of a techno like beat. While this may not be their best, their average is still a lot better than other bands.

MADNESS is a highlight of the album. With its unique intro and driving rhythm. Occasionally reminding one of Radiohead, Pilot Speed and U2. For a three piece this British group makes quite a racket. The entire album is very satisfying,

Muse offers something for everyone. This cd has probably there best known song on it as well. Madness does remind me of an old U2 song... But doesn't take away from it.

I was skeptical and excited when I saw this album on sale. With the price decrease I was worried that the songs were not going to be good, but I enjoy listening to all of the songs.

This album lived up to all other standards that prior elbows had. Rocks a lot. Great sound great vocals.

I really enjoy this album, the two title tracks Second Law: Unsustainable / Isolated System in particular.

The muse lead singer used to be a operatic singer! I love the political undertones!

I am a big Muse fan, so I didn't hesitate to buy this CD. After listening to it several times now, I realize there are definitely some addicting songs on there (besides Madness). However, I was disappointed that Panic Station had explicit lyrics because I have children who like Muse as well. And I was not very impressed with the songs at the end of the CD that were sung by another band member. Overall, I would still recommend it because the songs that are good are AMAZINGLY good! Go Muse!

Very even Muse album. Some songs are great, the rest are very listenable.

I bought this mostly because of "Madness," but there's a lot more good music than just that. I ididn't realized the album has been out since 2012, and I just hadn't gotten around to picking it up, but I am glad I did. Like most of Muse, it takes some listening to, but give it a chance. "The 2nd Law" refers to the Second Law of Thermodynamics, which is Entropy, or the idea that systems become less ordered as time goes on. Very cool!

Muse is a dramatic band and this album has a few good songs. Unless you can get it for $5, just buy the singles.

I am new to the music of Muse. Had read great reviews and decided to pick up the CD. i reallly enjoyed the entire CD. Kind of reminds me of late 70s concept albuns. There wasnt a single track I didnt like. Definitely a modern classic. New Muse fan here.

I initially purchased this album for one song, "Madness," but it turns out this whole album is a very solid Muse release. It seems Muse gets better and better with each release and this album is proof of that. If you're a fan of Muse and don't have this album yet, you need to add it to your collection.

I've never been a huge fan of Muse but this was such a great deal that I picked it up. It sounds amazing on my sound system. It's so clear with lots of thumping bass and cool arpeggio synths. I'm pleasantly surprised how good this was actually.

I would recommend this to those who like electronic-style music with a catchy beat, nice guitar riffs, and lyrics that actually make sense. Muse is a wonderful band and I am very happy to have all of their CD's. Excuse me. I am going to listen to it again.

Great album but not my favorite. The style and overall feel of this album is different enough from their previous albums that it was initially off-putting but eventually has grown on me.
