I have been wanting to watch this movie for a while and now I have it YES!

This movie is so funny, you’ll laugh til the end. So good

This could easily have been another lowbrow copulation comedy. However, it's much better than that. Steve Carell (also a co-writer) does a fine job of making Andy into a sympathetic character. Indeed, I easily identified with his motivations and actions: the bad experiences that led him to forsake dating, his escape into fantasy, and even the mundane activities he uses to fill his solitary life. Andy's friends are also intriguing because they represent flawed approaches to women. David (Paul Rudd) is obsessed with a gal who dumped him years ago, Cal (Seth Rogan) objectifies females, and the serial cheater Jay (Romany Malco) can't commit to his longsuffering girlfriend.

This film, along w Liar Liar, Fast Times RH, Jerk, Fletch, Billy Madison & Happy Gilmore, is just a re-issued film w a new-look cover. 40 Yr Old Virgin's original BR release was not best I've ever seen, so I bought the 2016 release hoping it was a new release w new improved sound & picture quality. Needless to say, I was disappointed because I wasted $$ on something I already had. Not a single change was made to the overall quality of movie. Even the disc itself was exactly same as original release. I basically paid $7.99 for a new cover photo...which is almost identical to original w only difference being the picture of Steve Carrell is bigger and zoomed-in.

This was my first Steve Carrell Movie and I kid you not it got me hooked on his films ever since, the whole plot about the movie is about a 40 year old guy who happens to be a virgin but its always fronting in front of his coworkers about how he gets laid all the time, this movie is a must, highly recommend it.

Funny as heck. Great movie to watch on date night. Something you both can enjoy.

This is one of the funniest movies I've seen in my whole life. If you have not seen this movie I recommend to see it is soon as possible. It's funny it's heartwarming and it is a little awkward. But perfect cast and dialogue as well as jokes make this movie a must see. Recommended.

This movie is great if you like outrageous, irreverent, inappropriate humor. There are numerous memorable quotes. If you like Anchorman, Step brothers, wedding crashers, and the like, then this movie is a must-have. Bluray makes it even better; hi-def, extremely scratch resistant.

I suddenly realized this is one movie I didn't have in my blu ray collection. Then I just happen to see this in the $5.99 bin I had no choice but to pick it up. Plus this was the unrated edition and it makes the movie even better.

Steve Carell is a genius in this 2005 Bromance comedy film! I was laughing and crying all at the same time hitting you hard in the heart and especially in your stomach. I recommend this movie for fans of Carell and true comedy lovers.

A sex comedy that never gets old. Great cast of characters and a lot of great jokes. Seth Rogan kinda steals the show in this, despite the charm of Steve carel.

This is the movie you want to see for a good laugh, it is the unrated version, it is simple, funny and Steve Carell makes a great acting in it. I recommend this movie if you like movies like hangover, american pie, etc.

The 40 Year Old Virgin is a hilarious film. I do find that it could have been a little shorter. Most comedies are better at 90 minutes.

There are so many great moments of comedy in this film. It's kind of like a coming out party for the 'Apatow' group. The banter between Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd is fantastic. Steve Carrell is also not afraid to go all out in this incredibly funny comedy.

The movie is consistently funny and has a surprising emotional depth that makes the romance sweet. Otherwise, The 40-Year-Old Virgin is exactly what you would expect from its title.

Don't watch this with kids! This movie is one of the funniest, most entertaining films ever. Lots of inappropriate jokes, so if you're sensitive to stuff like that, do not watch this!

The movie that kicked off a whole succession of quality comedies in the 2000s. Worth having in a collection.

Apatow and Carrell wrote a great screenplay that is brought to life by Carrell and the supporting cast. Very funny movie that is raunchy and good natured at the same time.

Love love love this movie and it never gets old!! My last copy stopped reading on me so I was excited to find this price on a random wrong turn in the store :)

Died laughing in this movie. I hadn't seen it in a while but it had the same effect watching it again. Got it for 1.99 on Black Friday and it was well worth it.
