Have not seen this movie in years... Forgot how good it was.

It made for a good stocking stuffer this year at Christmas.

Now many know the story of Ichabod Crane but not many know the story of Mr.Toad. These two short stories are so different yet of a time when people read more and verbally told stories. Which creates a fireplace like setting where people gather and enjoy each other's company. A feeling of nostalgia firmly set in a time gone by. The Blu-ray restoration truly made this feeling pop. Hopefully Disney will one day dig a little deeper into their vaults and pull out more time-capsule like gems for future restored Blu-ray releases. The future of cinema would be better for it.

Two short films that tells the Legend of Sleepy Hollow & a character piece from The Wind in the Willow via Disney animation. Sleepy Hallow shows the rivalry between school teacher, Ichabod Crane, & town bully, Brom Bones, vying for the love of Katrina von Tassel. Throw in a headless horseman & a wild ride through the woods to have a classic Halloween favorite. Crooner Bing Crosby narrates the tale and sings a few melodies. Wind in Willow tells of Mr. Toad who has extravagant tastes and pursuits along with the finest estate on the river. The adventures of Mr. Toad unfold as he needs help from his friends to keep out of trouble.

I love the store of sleepy hollow. I searched for the Disney Sleepy Hollow cartoon for a long time. The title is a little misleading. I thought that that this was another story about Ichabod. It's actually two separate cartoons. Sleepy Hollow and the Adventures of Mr. Toad. Both good stories.

If you're a fan of Sleepy Hallow or Frog and Toad this one is for you! If you've never seen Sleepy Hallow it's a great Halloween movie for adults and kids. I'm an adult and I love it! Who can forget Frog and Toad from when we were kids?! It's a classic! The Blu-ray is beautiful! I have the original DVD and the difference, although not something you may notice right away, when it's compared it seems like day and night! For the price it is very, very worth it, for yourself, your kids, grand kids, or just a fun gift.

This was one i loved as a kid watching on the wonderful world of disney in October. The wind and the willows was fine but the Adventures of Ichabod Crane was just so magical to me. The songs were fun and the story was great but also frightening to a 6 year old. It was an emotional thrill ride of laughs,fun, songs and fright. This is now an annual classic with my children as well. Highly recommended

The Disney artwork of the 40s and 50s is of the highest caliber. The Adventures Of Ichabod And Mr. Toad was produced in 1949. Top talent such as Basil Rathbone - narrator of Mr. Toad - and Bing Crosby - who narrates and sings in Ichabod - was recruited. Crosby was the reigning superstar of the day. Disney didn't skimp on the talent. Children of today will enjoy this just as we did when we were kids. The presentation on bluray is flawless. My only quibble is the lack of meaningful extras on the disc, the only thing that prevented me giving this 5 stars.

Brilliant pairing of 2 older Disney films. These are all ages, though small kids may be scared in a few parts. Both are Blu-ray with excellent film detail, and the stories are compelling ( and just in time for Halloween. At this price, if you have young kids ( or are a kid at heart) it's a good deal.

These movies are a little dated, but the Legend of Sleepy Hollow is a great introduction to creepy Halloween movies for kids. It's not extremely scary or in any way inappropriate for little kids, but its a great story. Kids will laugh at Ichabod Crane. The chase scene with Ichabod and the Headless Horseman is one of the best in kids movies. I followed up watching this movie with taking the kids to Sleepy Hollow, NY around Halloween where they have a lot of activities revolving around the Headless Horseman

After looking and could not find the Disney classic The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad I gave up. Decided to give Best Buy a try to see what they have a found my video. I am Happy! Thanks Best Buy! Will continue to shop here. Highly recommend Best Buy to other customers!

The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad is pretty cute and can really be viewed at any time. But the Legend of Sleepy Hollow is definitely a Halloween favorite that I still love to watch as an adult. Bing Crosby is the main voice/narration for this animated film and his voice is a real throwback to a specific time in my childhood so it's also nostalgic.

I'm dinging this Disney disc for not making it easier to skip around Mr. Toad's snooze fest. But it does look pretty good.

I bought this partly because I just want every Disney film to be in my library, but also because I'm a fan of the Mr. Toad's ride at Disneyland. This group of shorter films most likely wouldn't have been released like this if they were released today, but it's fun to see how things were done back in the day.

There was a Disney TV special in th 80’s called Disney’s Halloween Treat that I watched every year, and a edited version of “Ichabod Crane” was part of that. I bought this dvd and watched it immediately once I got home! Also, if you love Mr. Toads Wild Ride at disneyland then you’ll appreciate “Wind in the Willows,” too!
