Bought this as an Easter present. They enjoyed it. I took this to the register and the cashier read the title. "I didn't think we carried dirty movies." I laughed myself out the store.

I have seen this movie before in a social studies class about the painting of the Sistine Chapel and it gives me a good idea of what it was like. The acting is superb and Charleston Heston is great as Michaelangelo in the film.

I saw this movie in the theatre when came out. I bought it when made in VHS and this blu ray is much better to enjoy with sound and picture improved that I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as anybody else.

As this film was nominated for a bunch of awards, it can hardly be my place to review the show. I can say that the Blueray enhancement makes this film even better with more vivid color and clarity.

I always wondered about Michelangelo and his Life, that the things he had to Endure. What a Masterpiece of a movie to explain his Life.

A different kind of movie for Heston. He nailed Michelangelo as history portrays him with the drama Heston pours into his characters.

Agony and the Ecstasy is about Michelangelo painting the ceiling of the cistine chapel at the Vatican in Rome. Excellent story!

You cannot argue that Charlton Hesston is one of the greatest actors who ever lived.

This is an excellent drama headlined by two of Hollywood’s all time greats. An overall poignant motion picture that will hold your attention from beginning to end. Highly recommended - see for yourself!
