Is a shame they didn’t continue with more movies, because is really good.

Good movie I wish they would make up there mind on who plays Spider-Man..

Great movie. The best place to buy it cause they have the best price

Picture quality is great very sharp and dynamic however the 3d version for the most part is average at best There are moments were the 3d effect is fantastic but I want the whole movie to be in 3d. Let me explain that for a minute i would say that 75 percent of the movie has little 3d depth if you take the glasses off you will be looking at pretty much the same image just a little bit of 3d shift im serious Its almost like Freddy 3d where only a segment of the movie is in 3d the rest of it was in 2d Now there are some parts that are really great 3d but when i buy a movie that was supposedly filmed with 3d cameras i expect a little more than this. I paid 9.99 for it and I would have been really mad if I paid any more than that. I read reviews on this bluray on blu-ray.com and highdefdigest.com which agreed with my assessment. 2d version is great picture and sound no complaint there at all.

Finally a good superhero movie. I loved the 3D on my 3D tv.

I'll be up front, I'm a web head fan. I enjoyed the first 3 Spider-man movies with Toby M originally. However their luster quickly faded due to the campy undertones, poor casting, and special effects. Above all else they totally messed with the source material. The general public will say that Amazing Spider-man is the same as the first one and wasn't needed. However I'd have to point out that they are mistaken. The ASM with Andrew Garfield nailed many of the nuances that make people read the comics. This movie had the the nimble cocky web head in true form. They explored not only his superhero side but his science side as well which they almost completely ignored in the original 3. I won't get into a long review but if you are a fan and saw the original 3, see this one and start over. If you never saw the original 3... DON'T!! They're not worth the discs they're encoded on. The Amazing Spider-man is the best adaptation of the comics to date!!!

Not my favorite Spiderman, but better than amazing Spiderman 2. I received a good conditioned original movie and it played very nicely. The movie stars Andrew Garfield and The Lizard looked a little weird, it wasn't Marvel's best costume for a bad guy. But the lines were quirky comic book style and the movie resolve was pretty good. But the only thing I have in complaint really is the Lizard wasn't much detail and not much background story. I prefer the Toby Mcguire & Tom Holland Spiderman versions to Andrew Garfield, but this was still very enjoyable. That is why it gets four stars.

This is by far my second favorite Spider-Man movie

Solid movie with solid direction, and solid new actors and characters (I think I say "solid" too much). But a complete retread of the origin story seems unnecessary, and some of the origin changes are a bit unwelcome. The new actor for Spider-Man plays a great Spider-Man, but I think is a bit too cool for a proper Peter Parker. And some of Spider-Man's dialogue, although not the actor's fault, is a bit cocky, if not downright mean, where it should be more clever and sarcastic at most. But, that's just my opinion as a Spider-Man fan. Overall, some great improvements on the previous trilogy, mixed with too much re-telling of the origin, and a few odd new changes here and there, plus ACTUALLY SHOT IN 3D... A solid 4 out of 5.

I recall watching the original trilogy on dvd back when dvd were up and coming. Now we've upgrade to Blu rays and 3d tvs so it's about time we get a spidey that follows suit. This Blu Ray is pack with the 3d, Blu ray, dvd, digital and ultra violet all in one package, that's more copy than I need but hey for 14.99 plus movies cash to see part two I'll find people to give my extra copy to. If your reading this I hope you have already watched the movie and liked it and want the 3d version to show off on your new 3d tv, otherwise you haven't seen it and don't know what you have gotten yourself into(this movie isn't that good) but if you want sweet 3d effects this is a good flick to do it with ( as long as you don't think about the plot too much).

I gave this set 4/5 stars because the 3D disc will not play in my Samsung 3D blu-ray player (late 2011 model). I did some searching online and it seems I am not the only customer with this problem. I downloaded the latest firmware for my player and it still would not play. You can't get past a warning screen with that disc. I tried watching the 2D disc and simulating 3D using my TV's function but that did not give great results. Not sure who is to blame here, WB or Samsung. I'll have to wait until I get a new 3D blu-ray player....whenever that is. The movie is great, though. I got more out of it at home than in the theater the first time. There are some good special features that help you understand why the producers went for a re-boot instead of a sequel.

It was a great movie. It was in no way a comparison with the previous franchinse. Two different epochs, use of technology and Point of View for where the story is heading. This new franchise had the challenge of developing the characters in more details and fleshing out the story for other hidden meanings and info that we all overlooked as readers. Finally Emma is a great choice for Mary Jane, I love her dry humour and sarcasm. She gives her charater more depth than the redhead damsel in distress. I really disliked Kirsten Dunst in the previous franchise. Andrew Garfield vs Toby McGuire? They brought different expectations but the new action packed wise and ambitious Peter Parker, we love :)

Regrettably (and I don't understand why), I think I've missed the boat on a 3D TVs. What I was hoping would become a standard on all TVs, I see now that only two manufacturers still make 3D TVs and they are planning on phasing them out. I bought this because it was on sale and had the normal blu-ray/dvd/ultraviolet. I don't understand how they keep coming out with 3D blu-rays when it seems like most people can't even play them. Shame too. I am holding on to it in case they figure out a new/better/cheaper way to make 3D tvs. For now, I'll enjoy the set as it was a great movie and the 3 of the 4 things in it are usable.

This is not a remake of the Spiderman movies that Toby Maguire did. There are a few renditions of the Spiderman comics and this movie is based on the "Amazing Spiderman" comic book series. There is no Mary Jane in that series, instead Parker's love interest is Gwen Stacy. Whom I personally liked better. She was more self assured and not as whiny as Mary Jane was in the other movie series. So, even if you've seen the other Spiderman movies, get/watch this one ... it stands alone and is really good. Also, like in the comic books, Parker has to create his own webbing via a mechanical contraption he devises-unlike the other movie he doesn't get that ability when he mutates.

We all know that sometimes, reboots don't go well. This film takes exception to the fact. Although it retells the origin story of Spider-Man, its in a different light. Marc Webb (I know right?) Really was able to give the film its own identity for what was supposed to be Spider-Man 4. One of my favorite Spider-Man performances out of the 6 we have seen thus far. Not to mention the unique packaging. As its thicker & has the more unique Blu-Ray logo (youll know what i mean once you buy it and examine it). It also has 2 more discs, one including hours of bonus features/documentary & a DVD version. Classic film rating scale: 4/4 Stars

Film: While the production and effects are overall much better, this film leaves us with a terrible sense of deja vu as it's too similar to it's predecessor, Sam Raimi's Spider-Man (2002). It probably doesn't help that when this film was released, it had only been 10 years since the original was released and only 5 years since the dismal Spider-Man 3. Still an enjoyable ride, but it probably would have been better if we had more time inbetween franchises. Product: The film looks and sounds great on Blu-ray. The packaging was in great condition upon purchase. No complaints.

This movie has always been a must own for my collection. When I purchased this version it was $14.99, which seemed reasonable for a 3D Blu-ray. I enjoyed this version nearly as much as the Sam Raimi 2002 version. Although I prefer the 2002 version, the natural chemistry between Peter Parker / Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) is electrifying and this series strongest asset and greatest weakness. Because the greatest strength of this movie is the way these two characters work and interact, the movie feels like a love story first, superhero movie second.

So this movie is a reboot of the Spider-man superhero, the last of the Spider-Man movies being from 2002-2007. Now I wouldn't say this one is better than the original first row Spider-mans but this one was still good. I loved the actors and actresses that they brought in to play these characters they we're acted nicely. There are some great special effects in this movie along with some great action sequences. This movie came with a whole other disc filled with special features that I really enjoyed and just loved! The movie has some slow parts but the movie is still enjoyable!!!
