old classic movies, haven't seen them in years, really anxious to watch them again

I bought these DVDs for my father and they were enjoyable to say the least.

A bargain deal if you like classic films for a great price and in blue ray

Here are two really great and inspirtational movies well worth watching.

For people who like historical and bible stories. Great transfer to HD and sound.

I have these movies in regular DVD but wanted to see if they were much better on the blue ray. Of course these are old classics but I could hardly tell much improvement in the format quality with these except maybe with the sound, so if on sale they might be worth getting. I have noticed in some others I got in blue ray like my 10 Commandments movie were much better than older DVD. And of course any new movie on blue ray should be much better than DVD.

I made this purchase because it was incredibly cheap. THE ROBE is superior to THE BIBLE which at times was not very believable.

Bought to re view classics I'd seen long ago. Good transfers. Not as impressive as I remembered from my younger days.

Both films are classics though the Robe is somewhat over the top when it comes to acting.

The acting is a bit ancient but the story as a whole is good.

The 2 movies on this disc are redone from the 50's and not the modern versions of the movies that I thought they were. Good thing they weren't expensive.
