I played this for what seems like forever on PC, and the style of the game is perfect for the Switch. Being able to pause a run and pick up later on when convenient is great, and the challenge of the game is awesome if you are into that type of gaming. If the NES Zelda were as hard as Breath of the Wild, it would be Binding of Isaac.

This introductory/launch edition comes with a reversible cover, NES Zelda style instruction booklet, and stickers. This is limited to the first 2000 copies. Once they are gone it will become a generic package. Overall if you use GCU discount you will get 20% off. The game is a solid 9/10. Worth the dungeon crawling goodness for $32.

A subpar game released for an inferior system yet still manages to offer a decent time. Better on the PS4

One of the best rouge-like games indie games.

Binding of Isaac is a fantastic rouge-like with an interesting story, memorable items and enemies, and killer boss music as well. Although it's hard at first, it quickly becomes a lot easier after enough practice. All in all I'd say it's entirely worth it for the price of the base game and its DLCs (which are included of course).

Great example of how graphics do not make a great game, although the graphics are really nice traditional 2 D sprites by my opinion. Really simple dungeon crawling fun, with a challenging learning curve. The packaging is also filled with super sweet nostalgia, with a manual that is made out to feel like an old school NES manual.

If you are sensitive about toilet humor or religious references, then be aware that they are in this game. For anyone else, it's good fun.

I've seen this game available for other systems but never bothered checking it out. I don't know why I waited until the switch version but this game is addicting as there are an almost endless amount of stages. It also comes with some physical goodies (stickers and an ACTUAL paper manual) which most games lack nowadays.

Amazing replay value, 2D Zelda style randomly generated dungeons. It can be hard and very unforgiving and I love it. Being able to take it on the go is amazing and it has performed smooth for me so far! The limited print instruction booklet is gorgeous, though it could use an in game manual for the buttons at least.

This is a really fun game that I was happy to see got a physically release for the Nintendo Switch. It is easy to play and is fun in one player and two player modes. It is a different type of game being a small budget title so it may not be for everyone, but I definitely have enjoyed my time playing the game.

I wasn't expecting the kind of game that this one was. It is indie which is cool but I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I do after playing it for a bit. It's just a fun game.
I give it a 4 because it kind of just plops you in without telling you truly how to play.
But the story is interesting and the over all idea of the game in fun.

More characters to play as, more items, more levels, more enemies, more Issac! Have this for multiple systems and the switch version is by the fat the best. The sheer amount of replayability, coupled with the insane amount of items, collectibles and unlockables make this a massive bang-for-your-buck game

I've seen people play this game, but I never got into it. That was a mistake. This game is really hard at first, but it's not discouraging. It's worth picking up!

If you haven't played Binding of Isaac before, you're missing out on an awesome action game. If you have played it before, the extra game modes, characters, items and enemies make this game even better than before. The game is a nice change of pace when compared to other games in the Switch launch library.

I have seriously played every iteration of this game. Ed McMillen and his team have created one of the most addictive top down shooters ever. I have sunk at LEAST 2000+ hours into the PS4, Steam, and Switch versions. Despite the ridiculous difficulty level, the game never gets beyond frustrating!

4 star trainwreck...in a good way?

Game is played on a 2D platform with an extremely ODD storyline. A friend said it reminded him of SmashTV with a weird premise. I described it as a trainwreck because it looks disgusting but you simply can't look away. Lots of dungeons to explore and fight your way through mini-bosses and ultimately fight Isaac's own mom. Yep, his mom.

I had my apprehension about the binding of isaac based off it's simple design and presentation but the game is incredibly deep and addictive. The games themes and settings are ridiculous but that adds to its unique charm and I find myself sitting down for a quick play that turns into a longer than expected game session. Lots of content
