This is probably one of my favorite movies made way before when mainstream movies of a gay lifestyle were shown on tv or movies. I know it’s no longer correct for a straight man to portray as gay, but I think Robin did a great job. And Nathan Lane is an overlooked actor. He is simply sublime. I still watch this movie and to have it as blu-ray is great. This along with Too Wong Foo are both excellent movies made before the movie industry felt it was ok to have gay characters. I’m glad I can see them more prominent now, but back when this was released it was fabulous for me to see. Miss Robin Williams!

This is a great movie when you need a good laugh. Robin Williams was such an incredible talented actor. He is greatly missed. Gene Hackman and all the other characters are so good. We Are Family regardless of our differences. There is always a way when we want to make a way out of being different. We don't get to pick our families sometimes but we can seek the best out of what we have been given.

This is the preeminent movie about gay people and accepting gay people for who they are. Nathan Lane and Robin Williams are fan-freaking-tastic as a couple, but praise must also be given to Gene Hackman as a conservative politician who tries to avoid a scandal by traveling with his daughter to Miami Beach to meet her fiancé. I forgot about Hank Azaria who almost steals the movie. You do not want to miss this, especially if you're going through Robin Williams or Gene Hackman's filmography.

This is a hilarious movies with Nathan Lane, Gene Hackman and the late great Robin Williams! It was funny when it first aired and even better now! I owned it on DVD and decided to upgrade to Blu-Ray thru Best Buy with it's low sale price over the holidays! The picture is in HD and the audio in DTS 5.1 making a smart purchase! Highly recommend!

It's wild to think that this movie was made back in 1996 sometimes. Its subject matter was ahead of the times then, but fit in perfectly with our culture now. Add in the wonderful Robin Williams and Nathan Lane whom feed off of each other's energy and you find a supremely enjoyable movie full of all ranges of emotion.

When I first was introduced to the Birdcage, it captured my attention and I wasn’t sure what to think of it. Now, after watching it more than ten times, I had to get this on Blu-Ray. Great movie, good humor, and enjoyable. I recommend this movie (plus can’t beat the price).

My family and friends have truly enjoyed seeing this movie.

I have to admit with the subject matter and these two actors its great laughs by the minuet. Even the supporting cast has you up in stiches. One of those movies where watching the antic's of people really makes you feel good.

Even on DVD this movie is great, the Blu-ray version gives it a little extra kick. The Birdcage is one of those movies that stands the test of time. A great all star cast, and top notch acting make this movie a fan favorite.

This is a great classic and was way ahead of its time.You might say this was the film that laid the foundation for Hollywood into the lbgt film's.No matter what your stance is towards this lifestyle it is a hilarious and must see for all Robin Williams fans.Beautiful picture quality and great price.

This movie never gets old. It almost seems like it gets funnier in time like fine wine. You haven't seen the movie, and own a Blu-ray player, buy it!

"La Cage aux Folle" it is not. Modified for the American Audience (instead of French) this version of the story doesn't hold the gentle nuances of the original French film. It's entertaining and funny at times. I'd say watch this one and then "La Cage aux Folles" for an interesting comparison.

Very excited to find this movie on Blu-ray. It is one of my favorite Robin Williams movies. Thanks Best Buy for having this and at a great price.

Fun Movie! It's hard to believe it's been 23 years since this came out!! No extras - (at least none that I recall) Just the movie.

All star performances from everybody in the cast. Its that good. Watch it a hundred times with some wine. Laugh where applicable.

Great bly ray for a comedy classic directed by the great Mike Nichols. Robin Williams and Nathan Lane lifted the whole movie.

I absolutely loved this movie growing up! It has really stood the test of time and is every bit still enjoyable.

Hadn't seen this classic in over a decade because I couldn't find it on Blu ray, but now thanks to Best Buy I got it!

We found the movie in the budget bin for a very low price. It was one my wife enjoyed when she was younger.

This movie is very funny, and features a great performance from Robin Williams and the rest of the cast.
