No issues here; very nice steelbook of a classic in 4K.

Great restoration of a Hitchcock classic better on 4K.

The film is very good, but some of the effects don’t look the best in 4K. Still, this 4K presentation is the best it has looked on home media.

The Birds takes the most innocuous of God's creatures and turns them into Freddy Kruger. In a CGI challenged age, Hitchcock uses camera angles, skilled actors and iconic music to make you glad you're not in that movie. As usual, Hitch leaves it up to the viewer to be a participant in the story (to say more would be a spoiler). The Birds was Hitch's ONLY "monster" movie but a blueprint for all director's who followed to take a piece of.

One of Hitchcock's most frightening and suspenseful films gets the 4K steelbook treatment, and much like his other recent releases on the format, they've used original artwork and designs from the film's first theatrical release. This film - this release - belongs on the shelf of every cinema fan.

A classic film with a sweet steelbook cover. I love this trend of putting poster art on the cover of these steelbooks. The film looks and sounds fantastic. I've only recently started getting into Hitchcock and I haven't regretted it yet.

I really like this movie. First time I saw this Movie was when I was a Kid! This movie had Lots of Action and Suspense And Blood, then. I still really Enjoy Watching this movie, The Birds. Bravo to the Actors and Actresses of this movie. Kudos to the Director of this movie. Peace!

One of alfred Hitchcock's best movies good picture and sound good artwork on the steel book

I really like this movie. I feel like this one is underrated and often overlooked when Hitchcock movies are mentioned. Really good quality, and I always get great service when ordering from Best Buy. Thank you!

Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" has never looked better on this blu-ray release. In brief, birds start to go awry for no reason. They attack a local town in California. Even though the films is over 50 years old, it still sends thrills and chills down one's spine, better than most modern thrillers.

The steelbook is gorgeous (although you may hear complaints online about it being matte and not gloss). But I've always been a big fan of the poster art. The 4K disc is probably as good as this film will ever look in your home. While I give the movie and the steelbook a 5-star rating, make sure to select "Pick Up at Store" because the packaging was beyond shoddy. In fact, the steelbook was torn down the spine and damaged all over thanks to lack of packing care. Fortunately I was able to exchange it at my local Best Buy store in Greenville, NC for a copy they had on the shelf. A shout-out to the customer care rep there for doing a great job locating a replacement copy; a shout-down to the shipping department for their terrible packaging (no protection whatsoever).

The video transfer looks great and the audio is crystal clear! The color and grain of the film feel like a window into the 1960s, rather than "looking old", and it's a joy to watch. Lots of interesting extras to watch too, even though some of them are after the fact documentaries.

This has the 4K release and is a great restoration for a timeless classic. Also comes with a Bluray that can be added to your Steelbook with the famous added adhesive nipple

ah, the colors and sharp angles remind you why this is such a classic. deep saturation, top of the line speical effects for the time still hold up today. its fun to see how many modern filmms stole from this classic. just sit back with your kids and friends and enjoy.

I already had the dvd version which was a very clean transfer however THIS 4k version is truly amazing . Its a must have if you loved this film

What is there to say here other than a masterpiece of a old school thriller movie by the genius Mr. Hitchcock. This blu-ray transfer looks and sounds great especially for a movie of its age.

Classic Hitchcock at his best. Tippi Hedren is an exceptional actor though during the making of this film, Hitchcock was quite abrusive towards her.
