“The Block” truly showcases the New Kid’s talent not only as dynamic performers but as a serious musicians and songwriters. The dance oriented music merged with hip hop and funk bring this album to a new level for the guys. Songs such as "Big Girl Now" display their skills as songwriters and hit makers. Clearly, they were not afraid to take risks with such songs as "Lights, Camera, Action". "Grown Man" is an energetic inspired tune where their voices are soulful and the beat is pure dance and funk. "Put It On My Tab" features Akon and solidifies NKOTB as R&B artists. My only wish would be to have been able to hear more of Jordan Knight’s impeccable falsetto of which you get a hint of here and there. The New Kids On The Block have done it again! They have created a piece of work that is pure musical genius and MUST NOT be missed!!!

Love the first single "Summertime" off this album and I've heard bits and pieces of a couple of other songs- this is going to be their best yet! I am so glad these guys are back and can't not wait to hear this! Clcik, Click, Click is fantastic! I can't wait to hear the new single. Welcome back New Kids!

This is a great CD you just can't get enough of the deep lyrics and smooth harmonies. Donnie really shows off his talent in many diffrent ways on this CD!
