This movie revolves around the Book that has been targeted throughout the ages. Although it is a fictional movie, it places a great worth on the Book of books. And on the value of "guarding the Word of God in your heart."

I had already seen this movie before and I wanted to own it. Very interesting movie set in post apocalyptic time. The movie centers around Washington's character trying to protect a special book that the villains want for power.

Regardless if you think the story is good or even makes sense at all. Denzel and Gary Oldman are two great actors that drive this movie. I'm into apocalyptic themes and this is another great movie within that same genre and vision. I enjoyed this for what it was and again, you can't go wrong with these actors.

Amazing movie. Any person I have watch this I tell them they have to actually pay attention to it. Not just put it on and do other things while your watching. You get way more enjoyment I feel that way.

This is made by the underrated Hughes brothers and to me it is just great. Gary Oldman does a fantastic job of acting as he always does and the sets and cinematography is superb. Denzel is also very good in it as well.

This movie is one of my favorites....denzel always preforms amazingly....but I jus like this movie overall....the action.....the plot....it just all fits.....very enjoyable....annnn a must for all dvd collectors...!

Really enjoyed this movie. Very drawn in from the beginning. Alot of action and suspense. Denzel Washington was excellent in his role.

Hadn't watched this in a while. Still a very well done post-apocalyptic movie with a good adventure and big action scenes. The steel book is also very nicely made. The side art is made to look like a book.

I saw this movie in the movie theater and at the drive-in, noticing something new at the drive-in that I didn't notice in the theater. I loved the ended of it though. I NEVER would have expected that!

This movie is an underrated gem. The swerve ending turns alot of people off (no spoilers here) but it works in context of the film as a whole. Interesting special features round out the package. It's always fun to see Gary Oldman do his thing as well. Great buy for the price.

I really enjoy this movie and I play it all the time I have added to my collection and it recommended to anyone who loves movies and I think that the movie get educational as to relating a messeged

Denzel plays another bad-A hero but with an outstanding twist.

Denzel Washington was awesome in this movie! Action packed with a lot of hand to hand combat! Highly recommend!

Denzel Washington was unbelievable in this film. This movie was extremely unpredictable and had a major twist at the end. The fight scenes were classic. "Eli" shows no mercy.

no one ever talks about this movie. it's awesome. the sound quality is amazing too if you have a good set up
