Maiden fan for over 20 years. Love them, however I think most of these songs are too long. The song writing is pretty good. Although I was surprised to see a track titled "The Man of Sorrows", seeing as how Bruce has a song titled "Man of Sorrows" on the Accident of Birth solo album. Still, it's Iron Maiden. They rock.

I have been a Maiden fan for over 30 years and was not impressed with Brave New World, but this album is great! Two discs, long, epic songs, Bruce still sounds like he did back in the 80's. Everything about it is fresh and yet still has the classic Maiden feel.

Great new songs from Iron Maiden! I was worried about how strong the material was going to be based on more recent releases from other bands of their era that disappointed. Not are the songs great but the production is as well. Fans of IM won't be disappointed.

Up the Irons! Still going strong after all these years. I liked this album much better than their last studio album 'The Final Frontier' but not nearly as much as "A Matter of Life and Death'. there are a few long songs that reminded me of 'rhyme of the ancient mariner' which I thought was pretty cool as well.

This album blew me away. From the killer opening track (If Eternity Should Fail), to the 18-minute closer (Empire of the Clouds), this album is an incredible achievement . After 35+ years, Maiden is producing some of the best work of their career.

What can be said, Iron Maiden still putting out new music and still showing to much younger bands on how it is done. Best new album the band has done since last 2 new albums, return to the style known for. A must have for any Metal Fan!

This band is amazing. The overall vibe of this record is fantastic. I came fairly late to the Iron Maiden party, but am so glad that I finally took the plunge. A real masterpiece.

Book of Souls is full of good songs. If you are looking for the normal 3 and a half minute "hit song", this CD is NOT for you. Although there are only 11 songs, they take up two CDs. Tears Of a Clown is my favorite song on the CD.

Maiden fans will not be disappointed as they deliver their classic sound. They also deliver new melodies in almost every new song. Tears of the clown is an awesome tribute to the late Robin Williams as only Maiden can deliver!

Great new CD from Iron Maiden. Lyrics are good and tell great stories. CD sounds like it was recorded in a traditional analog format, which gives it a warmer sound, not quite as crisp as digital. Good stuff from Iron Maiden!

This cd is another winner from a great band. I think it has a lot of similarities to the Bruce Solo cds - Accident of Birth and Chemical Wedding (both of which I love).

I was not sure what to expect of this album, but being a Maiden fan since the early 80's I knew it would be worth a listen. They have come back with a very powerful double album that is the best they've done in years.

This is easily the best Iron Maiden offering since Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son!
It's a 2 disc CD with 11 songs and all are good. I personally love the song The Great Unknown.
Definitely a must purchase!!!

This album is rare these days-literally enough material to make up and old school double LP, which Maiden has never done. The formula is the same-galloping, heavy rhythms with great lyrics. If you are a huge Maiden fan, then this will not disappoint!

Top shelf Iron Maiden tunes - Bruce sounds amazing for recovering from tongue cancer - great guitar harmonies and expected chugging bass riffs - another epic Maiden journey as all albums prove to be....

Bruce Dickinson shows his vocal range in typical Iron Maiden fashion. The band as a whole still sounds as if they haven't aged a day since the 80s. Definitely an album to add to any metal collection!

I've always listened to IM on a more casual basis. However, this album truly stands out (possibly up there with Brave New World). Don't hesitate...get your self a copy and support a great band!

This release may not go down as their best but it is very solid and could rank in the top 5 of their catalog. Great price for a double CD set and in my opinion is well worth the money. If you like this band, you will like this release.
