This album carries on the Iron Maiden tradition of great songs, sometimes a bit long-winded but still catchy. Speed of Light comes closest to classic Maiden hits like Run to the Hills and The Trooper. A must-have for any Maiden fan.

I have been a hard core Maiden fan from the seventies.They never let me down.Despite all the difficulties they still rocking and delivering great music to the fans like me worldwide.

Consistently rocking album by the ageless wonders known as Iron Maiden. Very strong songs across the album and Bruce sounds great! Definitely worth it for any Maiden fans!

The nly thing negative I can say is the quality of the recording. It doesnt sound like a digital cd bur the tunes are good. If you are a fan then you will love it.

I am hoping it grows on me. The last time I said that about an Iron Maiden album (Matter of Life and Death), it did, in fact, grow on me and now I really like it. It is just that the majesty that makes Iron Maiden Iron Maiden was noticeably lacking on this album. It seemed like just straight-forward Heavy Metal that was missing many of the great riffs and ornamentation that Iron Maiden is known for. I have only listened once so I will need to listen a few more times to know for sure.

The new release is excellent. Very reminiscent of the early Maiden from the 80's. Just the way I like it. Now if they would just reunite with DiAnno for a few shows...

Instant classic, the 2 CD set is a must have for any maiden fan. This is a 2 CD package, but be warned CD 1 is so good it will be weeks before you fully enjoy CD 2.

Never been a big fan of Iron Maiden.But enjoyed CD I'm over 60 and I like the older rock groups must have great guitar and this delivers.especially first disc took a little drive great road rocker for me

If you are a fan of Maiden you will dig this album. Good songs, not too much self-indulgence. Gets better on repeated listens as any proper Maiden album should.

I have the entire collection of Iron Maiden works. This one ranks up there with some of the better ones, especially those as of late. If you are an IM fan, I recommend adding this one to your library.

Really have been enjoying this 2-disc release. Their best effort since "Brave New World". The closing song "Empire of the Clouds" is amazing - 18 minutes long!

So great to get new music from Maiden again. This is an excellent example of how classic and how cutting edge a band can be at the same time. Go get this now!!

Fast paced galloping epics with the signature Maiden sound as well as the 18 miute opus "Empire of the Clouds" that sounds lik nothing they've done before.

I love Iron Maiden. This is a very good album. Musically very strong. Lyrically very good. My one disappointment with Maiden in the 2000's is less song structure. No real choruses as in the past.

Maiden is back with a masterpiece, this Album is great, If you are an 80's rock fan this album is for you.

i like this cd. the first cd is great, some of the songs sound like their older stuff, the second cd sounds like classic music. a great mix.

This album was well worth the wait. Brings back memories of 7th Son. Their first double studio album. Highly recommended to all Maiden fans.

Not too many 2 CD sets released anymore unless a live release. If you're a Maiden fan - get this. The last song is 18 minutes long!
