One of the greatest horror comedies ever made! Stands with Gremlins and The Howling as one of Joe Dante's absolute best. If you haven't seen this film or haven't revisited it in a few years I can't recommend picking up the blu enough!

Comical movie on normal neighbors that have creepy neighbors suddenly move in and are suspects that might be responsible for the disappearance of the neighbors.

I’ve been a fan of this movie since watching it in my younger years. The plot is entertaining, and the cast delivers. I’m impressed with the 2K scan, and you can notice the update. I recommend this purchase.

I saw this movie in my late teens,and it still has the same greatness it had all those years ago.Tom Hanks is a amazing actor,this is one of his best movies,the supporting cast is spot on.It has humor ,suspense,and mystery.

I've no qualms about the movie; it's one of director Joe Dante's best, with a series of wonderfully modulated comic performances. But the Blu-ray is just a step above bare-bones, and I don't understand why, given that other distributors (Arrow Films, for one) have produced all sorts of Burbs-specific content. Maybe Shout Factory will step up...

This is one of those movies that has no comparison due to its unique way of having a story with characters that go well with each other. Yet another movie that shows Tom Hanks is a great comedy actor.

Shout Factory is a high end company that remasters movies to a high standard, this is the best copy of this movie you can currently find, and includes some nice audio commentary and bonus footage.

this is one of my all time favorite films from my childhood and i was so excited to see it remastered for blu ray. great movie that everyone should take a look at. hilarious with a great cast.

Super funny film!! I have watched it over and over. Tom Hanks is one funny guy. Bruce Dern and Rick Ducummun are over the top. Great family film.

This was a good film for the DC universe amid mixed reviews at the box office. The extended bonus material not seen in theatres seemed to make it less disjointed as compared to the theatrical version.

This movie built a steady following over the years. Middle aged suburbanites with too much time on their hands begin to suspect their new neighbors are murderers. Part comedy, part horror and a dash of Scooby Doo, this has a scat vibe to it. Loose and unrestrained, it doesn't fit neatly into any category.

This movie has to be one of Tom Hanks underrated comedies. Every one was spot on. Especially the guy plays my the retired Army guy with the hot wife. Just a total classic 80s movie that gets overlooked. I would give it 5 stars but this is direct from DVD which was almost basically direct from VHS.

The 'Burbs is a great 80's classic.A film I really liked when I was younger.It's also one of Tom Hanks fun comedies from this period.The movie is still fun and it's great that it is on blu ray now.The only down side is there are no real special features.I would of loved a commentary with Joe Dante.

This movie goes down as one of the crazy funny movie ever made. Best Buy is the only place I can find an American version of this movie. Price is great, so is the movie. Must buy....

bought this when i saw it at best buy and watched it the same day with the family and the next day my 9 and 12 year old were watching it again....shows you how good movies hold up

A comfort food movie that lacks greatness but earns a cult status. It was always a bit of a misfire, but nostalgia has improved it. As a madcap horror comedy with moments that have stayed with us from night time cable, The 'burbs endures with its loyal fanbase.

A favorite of my childhood, finds Hanks and friends questioning the habits of a new resident in the neighborhood. Weird or normal? Antics ensue. Great price! Worth the upgrade!
