If you haven't seen The Burbs since the 80's I'd say it holds up. If you've never seen The Burbs, this is a fun Joe Dante movie that mixes comedy with light horror and throws Tom Hanks into the middle of it. I'd definitely recommend this to fans of Dante, Hanks, and 80's movies.

One of the few movies I remember watching as a young kid and even today it holds up as a decent story about trust and suspicion within our modern suburbia. Definitely give this movie a watch as it is quite light-hearted with a great cast of characters.

any one else remember when tom hanks was funny. what happens when odd people move in next door and the neighbors see too many odd clues.....you blow up a house of course.

This is one of those films that everyone involved in was better renowned for something else. Regardless, this is an excellent and entertaining film on a variety of levels.

Ive been waiting for this classic to come to blu ray. Hanks plays a regular joe who gets suspicious of a new neighbors who he begins to suspect are killing people. Of course he gathers up a crew and hijinks ensue. Great classic to ad to your collection.

This is one of the movies I've been waiting for to come out on Blu-Ray and it's finally here. One of Tom Hanks funniest movies. You won't be disappointed.

The Burbs is one of my favorite comedies of all time. The Blu-ray is a decent upgrade from the DVD but wish Universal would have done a new master.
