A poor attempt at a sequel!

This movie was terrible! The only reason I didn't give it one star is because of the plot. I could tell they were trying. I knew going into this film it wasn't done by the same director, Tarsem Singh, and it wasn't going to be nearly as good as the first one. My wife and I loved the first one and didn't want to set our standards too high for this one. So, we tried watching it as its own film, not as a sequel. It was still bad! First of all, the acting was terrible! It was like watching a 'B' movie. Second, the special effects were those cheesy obviously computer generated special effects. This film is like watching a Sci-Fi Channel original movie. (Even thier movies are better than this.) Plus, this movie was just boring. You new everything that was going to happen before it happened. This was a poor attempt at a sequel to a great movie! In fact, this film was practically an insult to the first film, it's not even really a sequel. It has nothing to do with the first one! I do not recommend this film! If you're a fan of the first one, then leave it at that! This film is just a disappointment!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This has nothing to do with the first movie, The Cell. In fact, it's quite an embaressment to the first one, which was great! Two Thumbs Down!!!
