A close-knit agoraphobic pre-historic family must come to terms that their world is (literally) shifting. Together with the help of a newcomer and his pet fashion accessory, they trek across miles of gorgeous primordial landscape and find new meaning to living. Chris Sanders (Lilo & Stitch, How To Train Your Dragon) hits it out of the park again with this film.

I bought this movie for my gr's kids and I watched it on cable myself. It's funny in certain ways and highly interesting in other ways. Whether you are an adult or little kid this is a movie worth watching. Plus anyone can learn from the meaning behind this movie. The meaning that anyone can change regardless of why or how they are.

This movie is fantastic. The plot was better than what the trailer showed. The animation was great. The characters were unique and interesting, I laughed myself to tears in the feeding scenes and hiding scenes. Also, the actors chosen to speak the parts really made the characters come alive. This was a great addition to my collection.

This is my first time seeing this and loved it! Looks fantastic in 4K, the colors really popped and the detail was incredible. I laughed out loud a few times and this had a great message. Nicolas Cage’s voice was perfect for this.

THIS IS MY SONS FAVORITE MOVIE SO IT WAS A NO BRAINER TO OWN THIS IN A 4K PRESENTATION. Unfortunately still in letterbox as most 4K MOVIES ARE, But still a must own. COLORS AND RESOLUTION LOOK AMAZING ON MY LG CX OLED 4K TV!

The Croods was a fun movie to watch. There were some laughs, and it had a message about how much family needs each other. The 3D is important to me and I was very pleased with it. That's the part that makes me want to watch it again, even more than the story. The baby was kind of odd, but was funny at times.

When I first saw a preview for this movie, it didn't really interest me. Then friends and family kept telling me how good it was and not just as a kids movie. The Kroods is very funny and the bluray 3d is stunning visually. It's one of those movies that where my kids want to watch it over and over and I don't mind.

I recommend to buy the blue ray edition. It's such a different movie when watching it. It's very clear & the kids love it. To note if you watch this on your ps3 you will have to turn this feature called BD off its under settings labeled BD/DVD. it's only because the movie is old. All newer blue ray movies are fine.

I had never heard of The Croods until my granddaughter was looking for The Dawn of the Croods -which I could not find. So I got this one to surprise her and we all loved it. It kind of shows how a family sticks together through good and bad. I think it was very good.

This is one of those movies I never thought I would enjoy. We have since watched this movie many times, and it is hilarious. Like most movies of this type, it has a heart felt scene or two towards the end that get you a little choked up. Highly recommended!

I watched this with my kids (ages 6-12) using my surround sound Blu-Ray player. The sound quality was great as it has moments when the sound surrounds you. The video was very clean cut and story was a lot of fun; if not a bit silly in some parts. If you haven't seen it yet, Grab your kids and enjoy!

Another favorite of the grands and it is now even better on 4K disc. Of course you get the digital but a streamed 4K version only about 18 Mb/sec where the 4K disc media is closer to 150 Mb/sec.

The Croods movie in 4k is a awesome movie from beginning to end of the movie. The movie was the funniest 2013 DreamWorks they ever did. It's my first time watching it i will be watching it again.

I would recommend this movie to people of all ages. It is just a great family movie! It is funny, entertaining, and very enjoyable to watch! My 6th graders were captivated by the movie, and that isn't always an easy thing to achieve when it comes to movies on rainy, or cold weather days!

Story about family and trust and letting your children make their own decisions , set in a cartoony pre-historic caveman setting about how their lives were about to change and lives uprooted by a change in their surroundings and their ability to adapt to their new surroundings

I bought the movie to add to my collection for my young nieces and nephews to watch when they visit. Surprisingly the adults enjoy the movie too. Story line is classic and shows that family is very important if you all work together.

The storyline is heartwarming with totally off the wall moments of humor. I especially enjoyed the progression between the father and his daugher; watching them both bend closer to each other. If you don't have the movie, if you haven't seen it, get it. You won't be disappointed.

my youngest wanted this and it was a good price so we picked it up. she watched it everyday for two weeks and still asks for it. so worth the money and the animal, belt, is way better made than i would have expected. it velcros together to attach to things. cute.

This film has constant action. Its about a cave family and the changes they endure as their cave is destroyed. They must find a new home. They endure wierd creatures, strange surprises, new friends and a world of adventure they thought was dangerous becomes the new normal to them.

This is a really good movie. A family drama with a father realizing his teen age daughter is growing up, and add the end of the world as they know is mixed in too. Its got comedy, drama, action and all the fun stuff mixed in to make it a very enjoyable show for all ages.
