I had already tried watching this movie a long time ago on my laptop. But fell asleep and didn't give it a try again. Well I tried it in blu ray with my family and we loved it. You have to pay attention to get the full experience. Its amazing.

I wish they still made strangely beautiful movies like this.

This re-release of Jim Hensen's passion project Dark Crystal comes in a handsome book that matches the one Labyrinth came in. There are some short new special features, but the Blu Ray itself looks incredible compared to the old disc.

This is a classic film from Jim Henson’s production company. The great thing about this film is it has something for everyone regardless of their age. I was a kid in this film first came out, and I have enjoyed it ever since.

All I can say about the quality of this 4K transfer is nothing short of breath taking. The Dark Crystal is truly a sight to behold in 4K, this Jim Henson film is a piece of movie making in finest form for storyteller media.

This film is a timeless masterpiece. Great Gelflings. Massive Mystics. Sexy Skexis. Or however the heck you spell those things. This edition was enough of an upgrade that it was well worth buying a second copy of the film.

Anniversary edition of a classic. From the wonderful imagination of Jim Henson, a beautifully crafted story still as magical as it was when it first came out. A must have in preparation for the new sequel.

I could not pass up this special edition sold by BestBuy. This movie has been one of my favourites since I was a child, and now it's remastered and repackaged for beauty. You just can't beat this.

This movie is the best, so many memories. Very entertaining.

I’ve loved this since it first came out! My kids fell in love with it on VHS and now my grandchildren can love it on blu ray! ( looking forward to the prequel coming to Netflix too!)

This movie scared me as a kid so please watch before showing children and make your own judgements as to letting them view this. That being said, this movie looks beautiful on 4K. The puppetry on display here will most likely never be rivaled. Jim Henson was a great innovator and it shows in this release.

The new 4k master of The Dark Crystal looks fantastic and sounds great. The film grain feels natural with no noticeable dnr. This is a must own for fans of Henson and fantasy.

Excellent classic film. 4k audio and video are outstanding and significantly better than the previously released blu rays and DVD's. Steelbook case is beautiful. A must have.

This film has a lot of special effects. The story is good for all to see .The movie moves along well and all the characters are good Your family will enjoy this film.

While it’s not the best film to be written, it’s absolutely beautiful set in an absolutely lush world. A perfect edition of this film. Watch Age of Resistance on Netflix!

If you want to get nostalgic and watch an old kids movie that wont leave you disappointed.....this is it!!! me and my daughter loved it, it was well before its time.

For young and old kids alike. This is the amazing film brings back a lot of great memories if you haven’t seen it I recommend you watch this. I believe this is a must own

The anniversary packaging for this movie is fantastic!! A beautiful book with notes and artwork ending with a Blu-ray disk. The company who made this did a wonderful job.
