I love the scenes of mother nature destroying the world. Excellent CGI here. I can't imagine the statue of liberty taking a side shot like this and still standing though. This movie is science oriented and actually based upon still existing theories of show Global Warming can change things and how it might happen. It is a fun movie all the same.

This is truly a great movie. First, the story is so unique, very original, and well written. It flows with amazing screenplay. The direction is exceptional. The cinematography, lighting, and locations contribute to the narration. The costumes are wonderful. The acting is captivating. Each actor and actress portrayed the assigned character with wit, and substance.

Dennis Quaid, a paleoclimatologist is warning multiple agencies of a looming "super storm". Many brush him off as his team discovers a bad set of storm cells.. The film is a disaster film that is fun to follow each character's trek. Parts of it are heartbreaking. It brings awareness to future storm predictions, and preparation for the world.

This is a classic from the 2000s and I remember seeing this in theatres back in my high school years and then when it came out on DVD I rented it from blockbuster and I really loved the movie so much I watched it sevaral times when it came on HBO now I own the Blu Ray and it sounds amazing on my surround system and the picture has improved alot and its crystal clear now.

Dennis Quaid, Jake Gyllenhaal. Enough said. It's a corny action movie with great special effects, and a decent enough story. The characters are more real than a lot of dumb movies and the acting is solid. I like dumb survival movies, and this is right up my alley. The fact that it has high production value just makes it that much better.

Didnt expect the movie come with a sleeve and seems to be rare since ive never seen it before not even on ebay so that was great. Movie is great as well havent watched it in a while and i wished i wouldve seen sooner i really enjoyed watching it

I think that "The Day After Tomorrow" was one of the greatest disaster/action films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I also think that "The Day After Tomorrow" has a lot of entertaining and enjoyable action, mystery, suspense and drama including a really great and amazing cast and personal storylines as well.

My husband is an Engineer who also has interest in Geology. This movie is one of his two favorites because of its accurate details and portrayal of such a series of events. Viewing it often over the years has made it 'grow on me'; It is nicely done, with excellent acting.

Out of the dozens of disaster movies, this one has enjoyable characters and an interesting plot loosely based in science. People who pretend global warming doesn't exist may dislike the movie if that topic upsets them, but everybody else will have a fun time with the film. I'd put it up there with films like Twister.

I can't comment much on the format / features compared to others that are out there, but for the $5 I paid in store this was worth it (though I wouldn't pay much more). Made back in the golden age of disaster movies (is there such a thing? There should be), this is another fine set piece to pop the corn and turn off the brain.

There are a lot of science fiction films that have been released involving climatic disasters, and this one is definitely one of the best! Top of the line casting with Jake Gyllenhaal, Emmy Rossum, Dennis Quaid, and Ian Holm. This disc appears to be the same as the previous release, but this one does come with UV digital HD code.

I found this movie to be an eye opener in regards to our current climate change issues. The pace of the film kept my interest and made me want to watch it until the end. It made me think about what could happen if we do not take our actions seriously in preventing what this movie is telling us.

THIS MOVIE FOR ME WAS AND IS GOOD, THAT IS WHY I BOUGHT IT. ALSO THIS IS ANOTHER ONE FOR MY DISASTER MOVIE COLLECTION, PROBABLY ALREADY WATCHED THE MOVIE ABOUT 3 OR FOR TIMES. WISH IT WOULD HAVE CAME OUT IN 4K.

I think that "The Day After Tomorrow" is one of my many favorite disaster films of all-time. I really enjoyed the disaster sequences that made this film very entertaining and enjoyable. I also think that this film has a lot of action, mystery and suspense including a great and amazing cast, plot and storyline as well.

Great price for movie. Shipping was fast. Website purchase was easy, and packing was suitable for shipping. Would purchase movies from Best Buy again. Faster than other Major box stores and amazon . The movie is pretty good too!

Climate change or prequel for Tribulation in the Bible? This movie brings your deepest and darkest fears of tribulation to reality on the Big screen.

This happens to be one of my favorite Jake Gyllenhaal movies...along with the Zodiac movie (until the Southpaw movie came out)! If you're a Gyllenhaal fan this is a must see. It's a good end of times (so to speak) movie! No zombies, thankfully! Dennis Quaid does just as well.

This movie is probably not too far off the mark in it's description of some of the effects of global warming. I enjoy the drama without it being about someone trying to kill someone else. The family values give it heart. It's also a good reminder to us to take care of our home planet.

Great movie. Have to admit have my love for this movie is the same reason I like Poseidon, Emmy Rossum. She is awesome, pretty, and a great actor. And the movie itself is a great disaster movie with some real world disasters in it instead of aliens, superheroes, or Godzilla's (those are great too)
