Excellent Movie, Great story for the DC line. Loved the characters.

To start, my experience with Superman stories are through some comics, the cartoons, live movies, and animated movies. It has been awhile since I watched "Superman Doomsday" but it seems to take a similar premise as that story. The difference seems to lie in the animation, the emotional turmoil in Superman about how much of his superhero life should intermingle with his personal life, and slight changes in the characters and story line. I am not going to go into more detail for fear of spoiling the movie, but, if you are a dc fan and want to give this movie a try, I would say go for it. Try renting a dvd of it before purchasing it. Further to note, the comic book addition adds a good touch to the package. It shows clips of the other main members and their association with Superman. I look forward to seeing how dc will add to the story line with the upcoming "Reign of Supermen." One thing that troubled me about this movie was that Superman stayed dead while in the other animated movie and live movie he is revived in some way. Hopefully, the next movie will follow the traditional cycle of reviving the superhero.
