All I can say is that Shailene Woodley,Kate Winslet and Theo James really did great acting jobs in the second installment of the Divergent series.It is a continuation of the previous installment as Tris searches for answers and allies and she and Four race to unlock the truth about the past and ultimately the truth about the world.This is a must-see movie.

Divergent was a awesome movie. But I was concerned that insurgent wouldn't be as good as the first movie that their wouldn't be as much action as the first. Let me tell you after watching Insurgent I was not dissapointed. The movie was amazing had me on the edge of my seat all the way to the end. If you liked the first movie you will love this movie.

Insurgent, the 2nd in the series, is surprisingly good. The pace and action are far better than Divergent, and the special effects easily as good. No spoilers, except to say a few major characters do die, and one character turns out different than expected from both movies. Overall, a very good movie and one worth adding to your collection. A must-buy

I have a problem with my DVD. In the first scene of the movie the DVD will freeze and then it will start all over again from the special features. I exchanged that DVD for a new but the second one is doing the same thing as well. I gave up. I'm not going to keep exchanging a DVD. It's frustrating. Anyways the movies was great. Waiting for part 3 now.

We bought this version of the movie for a family member that wanted it. We also bought Divergent at the same time. A competitor had the pair of movies together at a discounted price and Best Buy happily price matched them for us which saved us a trip to the other store. It's Best Buy's customer service that keeps me coming back time and time again.

The movie was fantastic and I had a choice between buying this in the regular plastic Blu-Ray container, or there was a special Metal container which was a really nice choice, to hold the DVD discs in and protect them nicely. The cost was the same so I chose the metallic cover . It's a limited edition so they are only available until they run out .

I had been looking forward to this sequel for quite some time. The movie did not disappoint! I found it quite engaging from the start. For someone who has not read the book series, I was thoroughly entertained and a little bit surprised at some of the twists in the plot. Great effects and the 3D was awesome! Well done! Love the steel packaging.

Though it strayed from the source material, it just shows that the writers actually know what they're doing. Picking up where Divergent left off, Insurgent picks you up and doesn't let go. Performances are even stronger this time around. The soundtrack is vastly different but it works given the storyline this time around. A definite must see!

I read the Divergent series a few yeas ago and couldn't wait for the movies to come out. The first movie was great, but the second was a little disappointing as it deviated from the story more than I had hoped. but all things considered it was enjoyable to watch and the Blu Ray product was excellent. Yes I am waiting for the third movie too!

It was a gift item for a family member and its a Blu-ray disc set...you pretty much get what your looking for as long as the title is correct...lol. The movies played...they enjoyed receiving and watching them so I suppose its great! Would I recommend them...sure if you like the books and want to also see the movies...

I wasn't sure what to expect after seeing the previews. I thought that it was better than the previews let on. The bulk of the movie seemed to go against the heroes fighting against an oppressive ruler that lied about everything that was really going on while systematically killing innocent people. I was pleased to see how it ended.

Don't be fooled by the somewhat formulaic first chapter of this series. It was enjoyable but predictable. This sequel is much better, with less predictable pacing. This explanation is how I got my friend to watch Insurgent and he also agrees. Ultimately, it's just more fun to watch and it has me even more excited for the next entry!

This movie, though part of a series based on 3 books, can stand alone. What is even better is to buy this one and Insurgent. If you haven't read the books, you wouldn't know there is to be two more movies based on the last book, which is the trend these days. Watch them back to back like an old drive in double feature. You won't regret it.

I wanted this movie in steelbook but they only had it in 3D. I was unsure if I should order it or not because I didn't need the 3D disc but it also came with blu ray and dvd and a digital copy. I ended up getting all of them for a very low price and if I end up getting a 3D tv someday I will be able to enjoy the 3D disc as well.

I loved divergent, but feel that each movie after goes down a notch, I enjoy the overall plot and characters and love the special effects, but the script takes away from the book and does not do it for me. I will still own the collection and pray they make the 4th, but this falls short of the hunger games fame.

I have to be honest haven't seen then movie Bluray yet. I saw this movie in theaters twice and even though is not as good as hunger games, I really like it and I think the cast is fantastic. I like that it includes the iTunes digital copy. I have divergent also on Bluray and I'm sure i'll get the 3rd one when it comes out.

Great 3D version of the second installment of the series. Would have been nice if there were 3D versions of the other two installments of the trilogy, but one is better than none.

If you have the other 2 you will probably want this 3rd movie in the divergent series. More sci fi than the other 2. If you don't have the other 2, wouldn't bother as I think this was the weaker of the 3. Talk that the 4th may be released on tv instead of theaters. Divergent Series very similar to Hunger Games.

Somehow we missed this DVD when it was released last year. My daughter is a fan of the Divergent series and owns the books. This DVD was on sale when I came to the Best Buy website to order the Allegiant DVD, so I went ahead and ordered it too. My daughter enjoyed Insurgent, but said Divergent was better.
